Food Runner | Alder & Oak Status: Full-Time / Part-Time The Food Runner is the vital link between our kitchen and the dining room. You are responsible for ensuring every dish reaches the guest quickly, at the correct temperature, and with the proper presentation. Key Duties Delivery: Carry trays and deliver food to the correct tables and seat numbers immediately as it is ready. Knowledge: Identify every dish on our Mediterranean menu and explain it briefly to the guest upon arrival. Quality Control: Check plates against the ticket for accuracy and ensure garnishes meet our standards. Assistance: Help servers with clearing plates (pre-bussing) and refilling water or bread as needed. Efficiency: Maintain a clean, organized "expo" line and assist the kitchen team with side work. What you will be doing Greet customers promptly upon taking a seat in the restaurant. Share any specials or make recommendations from the menu for the customer.
