Force Construction company history timeline

1960

A new office expansion measures 24′ x 36′. Force hires its first full-time salesman in 1960.

1963

In 1963, even before the current Force Construction was formed Don Force sent his crews to help clear the wreckage of a derailed train near Garden City.

1973

Founded in 1973, our company strives to be the best Industrial Construction, Industrial Railroad, and Maintenance general contractor serving the Gulf Coast.

1974

Harold Force joins the company full-time in May of 1974.

1981

David Force joins the company full time in January of 1981.

1986

Force celebrates it’s 40th anniversary in 1986.

1988

Mike followed political aspirations and won his first election in November of 1988 to serve in the Texas State House of Representatives.

1998

He then set his sights on the Texas Senate in 1998, winning and serving for an additional 14 years.

2010

In 2010, Rusty Barnhill (president) and Manuel White (executive vice president) joined the company, bringing with them a tremendous amount of industry knowledge, experience, and relationships that have breathed a remarkable amount of new energy into the organization.

2019

Force recognized as 2019 General Contractor of the Year and Project of the Year
