Your main role as Foreman/Crew Lead will be to oversee and perform repair work scheduled by our team. You will be responsible for leading a team of 2-3 repair persons, providing exceptional service and an exceptional product to our customers. As a Crew Lead, you are our repair expert in moisture remediation, carpentry, and foundation work and leaned on heavily as such by our team(s). POSITIONS AVAILABLE: 1 PRIMARY FUNCTION: The efficient management of assigned projects or operations. Position has direct responsibility for personnel, equipment, scheduling, safety, quality workmanship and completion of assigned projects on time and within estimated budget. Your Responsibilities • Coordinating construction work according to priorities and plans. • Producing schedules and monitor attendance of crew. • Allocating general and daily responsibilities. • Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans. • Produce schedules and monitor attendance of crew. • Allocate general and daily responsibilities. • Supervise and train workers and tradespeople. • Ensure manpower and resources are adequate. • Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met. • Supervise the use of machinery and equipment. • Monitor expenditure and ensure it remains within budget. • Resolve problems when they arise. • Report on progress to managers, engineers etc. Supervisory Responsibility Assigning work to subordinates, as well as establishing deadlines and modifying work schedules to meet deadlines as needed. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are 7:00-5:00 (M-Th) and 7:00-3:30 (Fri). This position frequently requires long hours and occasional weekend work. Travel/ Driving Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected. Driver's license is required. Required Education and Experience • High school diploma or equivalent. • Proven experience as construction foreman • diploma in a skilled trade (electrician, carpenter etc.) a plus. Preferred Education and Experience • In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment and OSH guidelines Salary depends on skills and experience.
