The Dalton JA Discovery Center is a 15,000 sq. ft. facility that offers authentic, relevant, and experiential capability programs that combine in-class curriculum with a capstone simulation. In addition, the JA Discovery Center - Dalton is a hub of frequent business and community events in connection with the 200+ corporate partners supporting JA throughout the state.
Primary Responsibilities:
Program Quality
Emcee the onsite simulation (approx. 4.5 hours) in front of 130+ (students/volunteers) Monday - Friday. Must exhibit showmanship and a natural stage presence in front of large groups and on a microphone.
Facilitate onsite volunteer training daily (60-90 minutes) and provide guidance throughout the simulation to 20-40 volunteers to help them coach students by applying their personal experiences within the simulation.
Design and execute a best-in-class learning experience during student JA BizTown and JA Finance Park visits, aligning simulations with curriculum learning objectives and creating authentic application opportunities.
Manage onsite engagement of up to 150 students per day by facilitating daily activities, coordinating daily simulation schedules, and other logistics to ensure completion of simulation.
Deliver a consistent, high-quality, high-energy experience every day during the school year (approx. 175 days).
Program Sustainability
Assist in inventory tracking for all simulation resources (tablets, props, program materials, etc.).
Provide technical support and troubleshoot common issues with simulation software and/or storefront technology.
Collect required program forms and complete daily reports in a timely manner.
Ensure that space is in a constant state of operational readiness through daily walk-throughs, observations, and inspections.
Prep and reset ensure that program resources and all essential materials for students and volunteers are prepared and ready prior to arrival.
Utilize non-program days (i.e. summer) to innovate and elevate the current student programs, as well as strategize program growth.

How This Role Makes a Difference
The Sub-Investigator will be responsible for regional travel mixed with remote tele-medicine work to support our clinical research studies. Additionally, our Sub-Investigator will be skilled in administering investigational products (IV, SC, TD, IM, PO administration), performing physical examinations, monitoring for investigational product related reactions, among other duties beyond the standard clinical research Sub-Investigator role. How You'll Make An Impact
* Work closely with the Principal Investigator to oversee the execution of study protocols, delegating study related duties to site staff, as appropriate, and ensuring site compliance with study protocols, study-specific laboratory procedures, standards of Good Clinical Practice (GCP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), quality (QA/QC) procedures, OSHA guidelines, and other state and local regulations as applicable.
* Attends and participates in meetings with the director, other managers, and staff as necessary.
* Complies with regulatory requirements, policies, procedures, and standards of practice.
* Read and understand the informed consent form, protocol, and investigator's brochure.
* Be available to see subjects virtually or in-person as dictated by project design, answer their questions, and resolve medical issues during the study visit.
* Sign and ensure that the study documentation for each study visit is completed.

* Administration of Investigational Products (via subcutaneous, transdermal, intramuscular, intravenous, or oral routes).

* Prescreen study candidates by telephone and review exclusionary conditions or medications prior to scheduling screening appointment.
* Obtain informed consent per SOP.
* Administer delegated study questionnaires, as appropriate.
* Collect and evaluate medical records.
* Complete visit procedures and ensure proper specimen collection, processing, and shipment in accordance with protocol.
* Train others and complete basic clinical procedures, such as blood draws, vital signs, ECGs, etc.
* Review screening documentation and approves subjects for admission to study.
* Review admission documentation and approves subject for randomization.
* Provide ongoing assessment of the study subject/patient to identify Adverse Events.
* Ensure that serious and unexpected adverse events are reported promptly to the Pl.
* Review and evaluates all study data and comments to the clinical significance of any out-of-range results.
* Perform physical examinations as part of screening evaluation and active study conduct.
* Provide medical management of adverse events as appropriate.
* Dispense study medication per protocol and/or IVRS systems. Educate patient on proper administration and importance of compliance.
* Monitor patient progress on study medication.

Call volume is variable but is usually 2-5 calls per day
You will complete certifications from Dell and Lenovo as part of your onboarding. Certifications are online and free to you.
You must have a reliable form of transportation and a valid driver's license to run these calls. You will be visiting multiple work sites throughout your day.
You must have access to a computer and the Internet to log onto your portal each day.
You must be available to log into your tech portal each morning you are working by 9 am to code your calls and map out your route for the day.

Position Summary
The PTA - Physical Therapy Assistant provides direct rehab care in physical therapy to patients upon physician referral under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.
Education, Experience, and Licensure Requirements
Graduate of an accredited program in physical therapy (ASPT)
Currently registered/licensed in applicable State. Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment.
One (1) year experience in post acute care or related setting preferred
CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.
Specific Job Requirements
Participates in community health matters/projects as appropriate
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and e mail
Liaisons with patients, families, support departments, etc., to adequately plan for patient needs
Demonstrate good body mechanics at all times
Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
Knowledgeable of practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing functions in the post acute care facility
Implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the department
Perform proficiently in all competency areas including but not limited to: patient rights, and safety and sanitation
Maintains professional working relationships with all associates, vendors, etc.
Maintains confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information
Understand and follow company policies including harassment and compliance procedures
Displays integrity and professionalism by adhering to Life Care's
Code of Conduct
and completes mandatory

and other appropriate compliance training
Essential Functions
Follow physical therapy treatment plans for patients under direction of the supervising PT
Chart appropriately and timely
Utilize therapy software appropriately and accurately
Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients
Assist in the evacuation of patients
Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance
Concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment
Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team
Sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach, and move intermittently during working hours
Read, write, speak, and understand the English language
