As the first and last face that a client sees when they come in for class, we are looking for applicants with excellent customer service skills who feel comfortable and confident working closely with clients, have outgoing personalities, and a passion for fitness.
*This is a part-time hourly position requiring an availability of a minimum of 12-15hrs/wk*
Compensation:
$17.87/hr
Requirements:
Flexible availability to meet the minimum requirement of 12-15 hours per week
Must be available to work at least one of our three shift blocks: opening, midday, closing (opening shifts: 5AM-9/10AM, midday shifts: 9/10AM-1/2PM, closing shifts: 2/3PM-8/9PM)
Must have one day of weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday)
Availability to work at least 1 major holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve/Day, New Years Eve/Day, 4th of July - we will have limited class schedules on these days but will still be open)
Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot in the moment
At least 1 year experience in sales

SUMMARY

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
• Greets, registers, and assigns rooms to guests
• Handles confidential information, including guest records, with a high degree of integrity
• Promptly and effectively deals with guest requests and complaints
• Answers and routes calls as appropriate; takes guest messages with accuracy
• Responsible for cash drawer contents and transactions during shift
• Maintains accurate records including cash flows, registration card, reservation cards, and property walks
• Assists with sales and marketing efforts as directed by the General Manager
• Offers and properly handles requests for wake-up calls
• Records pertinent guest information in the pass-on log • Replenishes continental breakfast as needed and keeps area clean
• Ensures common area/lobby is clean
• Performs laundry functions as directed
• All other duties as assigned
What we are looking for:
0 - 1+ year of customer service experience
Passionate about hospitality and creating an exceptional guest experience.
Ability to handle confidential information, including guest records, with a high degree of integrity.
Ability to answer and route calls as appropriate; takes guest messages with accuracy.
