The Office Assistant is responsible for organizing and facilitating the operational flow of the grant-funded Workforce Development department, assisting students, directing visitors, and providing support to staff. This appointment on a schedule established by the Senior Director for Workforce Development, and may include occasional nights, weekends, and overnight trips. The position involves frequent handling of confidential information and records. At times, minimal supervision is provided; the Office Assistant must be able to work independently and accurately prioritize tasks. Annual renewal of this position is contingent on continued grant funding.
