Decent pay and benefits. They claim to be union.
What you make is what you'll make unless you're very liked by a supervisor. Positional or financially there is no incentive to learn the job or become better. You could have 15 years of track experience and make what a day 1 employee makes. There is clear favoritism among the supervision and the work you get is based solely on that fact, without regard to production, ability or seniority. You could have 2 years with them and an inexperienced guy with 1 week there who is better liked or has a naturally tan shade, would get work ahead of you. Lazy seems to pay better.
Free water while at work, free gloves, free safety glasses and a vest
I don't believe I ever met anybody from that area. I can assure that I never met a leader. There were plenty of bosses, not one leader.
I'd shut the doors and go out of business.
I gained relevant job experience with another company.
I don't know what the industry average is. I do know my coworker with years of experience made the same as a new hire.
They're well represented, even if they don't receive the same treatment.
Quitting time
