* Deliver high-quality, engaging instruction in assigned courses at the appropriate academic level
* Develop and maintain current course syllabi, lesson plans, and instructional materials aligned with program learning outcomes

* Integrate current industry practices and emerging technologies into course content
* Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to students
Assessment and Student Learning Outcomes
* Design and administer examinations, quizzes, assignments, and projects that appropriately assess student learning
* Provide timely and constructive feedback on student work
* Evaluate and document student learning outcomes for each course
* Maintain accurate records of student attendance and academic performance
* Submit all grades and required reports to the Registrar's office according to institutional deadlines
Student Advisement and Support
* Maintain posted office hours for student advisement, tutoring, and academic guidance
* Mentor students on academic and career-related matters
* Respond to student inquiries in a timely and professional manner
* Refer students to appropriate campus resources when needed
* Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
Professional Development and Institutional Service
* Attend all faculty meetings, professional development functions, and assigned university committees
* Participate in accreditation processes and ensure compliance with licensing and accrediting organizations (ABET where applicable)
* Continuously monitor and implement improvements at the campus level as identified in Faculty Planning, Assessment, and Implementation processes
* Maintain confidentiality of student records in accordance with FERPA regulations
Research and Program Development
* Conduct annual research into local careers and industry trends to assess appropriateness of course and program content
* Submit annual research findings to the Department Head or Division Head
* Collaborate with librarians on library program and course collection development, including establishing and weeding resources
* Ensure all electronic library resources are used exclusively for university work
Education
* Master's degree in civil engineering or related field required. Doctorate (Ph.D. or D.Eng.) preferred
Experience
* Minimum of 3-5 years of professional engineering experience in industry or academia
* Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent professional certification preferred
* Prior teaching experience at the college level preferred but not required
Skills and Competencies
* Deep knowledge of engineering principles and practices in relevant discipline
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Associate's degree is required. Bachelor or Master's degree preferred.

Clear/Active: unrestricted American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification and registration in radiography or the equivalent (an unrestricted state license for the state in which the program is located).

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
* An associate degree is required. Bachelor's and master's degree preferred.
* Minimum of two (2) years of documented clinical experience in professional discipline.
* Proficient in curriculum development, supervision, instruction, evaluation, and academic advising.
* Clear/Active: unrestricted American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification and registration or the equivalent (an unrestricted state license for the state in which the program is located).
* Collaborative work style; strong communication / interpersonal / organizational skills.
* Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, Outlook and basic database applications.
* Outstanding public speaking and presentation skills.

Position Overview
This faculty member teaches Architecture/Interior Design courses.
Courses may be taught in an array of teaching modalities: MDC In-Person, MDC Live (Learning Interactively in a Virtual Environment), MDC Online (online delivery) and Blended Classes.
What you will be doing
* Teaches lecture and studio courses
* Participates in curriculum development and revision
* Recruits, advises and evaluates students
* Performs other duties as assigned
What you need to succeed
* Master's degree in Architecture from a regionally accredited institution; or a Master's degree from a regionally accredited institution and 18 graduate semester hours in Architecture and/or Interior Design
* Teaching experience at college or community college level preferred
* Ability to work well with students, faculty and staff
* Ability to function well in a technological environment
* Must possess excellent organizational skills

The Physician Assistant Program, Main Campus is seeking candidates for Physical Diagnosis Lab Instructor-Adjunct position. This Adjunct faculty position will be responsible for teaching Physician Assistant students in the proper performance history and physical examination skills during Physical Diagnosis Lab. Proctor Clinical Skills Exams Under direction of Course Director.
This is an In-Person Position at the Miami Shores Main Campus
Essential Functions
* Teach Labs, under PD course director
* Study the objectives and lesson plan (emailed) for each lab.
* Teach small group labs, under direction of course director. Supervise students performing H&P's and make constructive comments about their performance during practice labs.
* Assist Student Assessment
* Proctor Clinical Skills Exams by closely watching student performance and checking-off exam items on a checklist for graded exercises. Grade clinical skills, entering to Canvas
* Assess clinical students on rotation
* Site visits to students on clinical rotation, under direction of Clinical Coordinator
* Assist Admissions
* Assist the PA Program in conducting file review and interviews of PA Program applicants, under direction of Program Director or Admissions Chair
Qualifications/Requirements
* Bachelor's degree: Physician Assistant, PA-C, MD, DO is required
* Master's degree: Physician Assistant, PA-C, MD, DO is preferred
* 1 year or less of work related experience is required
* A minimum of one year of teaching experience is required
* Ablilty to apply logical thinking to instruct, critique and evaluate students' physical exam skills
* Ability to accept projects as assigned in the physical diagnosis lab
* Ability to receive and interpret microscoft documents: Word, Excel, Powerpoint
* Ability to communicate via email
* Ability to operate equipment in physical diagnosis lab
* Ability to communicate all written and oral instructions as issues arise within the physical diagnosis lab
