    Work Direction: The Graphics Designer works under the direction of the Director, Multimedia Communications. Trinity United Church of Christ seeks to engage Graphic Designers to provide professional services. The Graphic Designer will: Present and/or communicate messages to the target audience through a visual presentation of an idea or message. In consultation with the Multimedia Communications Director, Project Manager, and the Digital Pastor, Provide Social media content development and implementation, and audience engagement as needed Develop graphic designs according to specifications provided by the Multimedia team Coordinate with Trinity team members to gather data and specifications according to the project requirement Brainstorm design ideas with the Multimedia team Utilize current techniques and processes to provide the best quality of designs Be available for weekly creative team meetings as scheduled by Multimedia Communications Director, Project Manager, or Digital Pastor Be available to work on projects as assigned The Graphic Designer will be paid on a bi-weekly schedule at an agreed upon rate for all hours worked on assigned graphic design projects within a pay period, in accordance with Trinity UCC's pre-established payroll schedule. This is an Independent Contractor position, and not an employee position. The Independent Contractor will be solely responsible for the payment of all federal, state, or local payroll taxes. The Independent Contractor is not eligible for benefits of any kind from Trinity United Church of Christ. Requirements: This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Computer-Aided Design and/or related field or its equivalent, plus two (2) to three (3) year's applicable work experience in the field. Applicants must be proficient in computer graphics, animation and have a good background in layout and design and is familiar with maintaining databases. Applicants must also possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Additionally, applicants must be able to work and interact well with a myriad of personalities.
