Expected to float to overflow areas such as surgical short stay

Specialized equipment includes cardiac monitors, arterial lines, ICP monitoring, dopplers, fetal heart monitors, EKOS, SCD pumps, and wound vacs
Primary responsibilities include patient recovery following anesthesia and monitoring for discharge readiness
PACU RNs may recover ICU-level patients but do not float to ICU assignments
Assigned to Storm Team/Hurricane Team and may be required to report for catastrophic events, mass casualty or disaster situations
Comprehensive, individualized orientation is provided on hire
Schedule is managed by committee
Navy scrubs required
Maximum approved RTO is 7 days; additional RTO or call-offs may result in contract cancellation
Local candidates accepted with possible rate adjustment for those living within 50 miles of the facility
Requirements
Active NC or compact RN license required

ICU experience required (screened based on checklist ratings 1-2)
