Your role as an Assistant ProjectManager
As an Assistant ProjectManager, you will provide projectmanagement support during all phases of HVAC construction to ensure project standards, budget, deadlines and communications are maintained.
Safety:
Perform site walkthroughs and inspections.
Assist in site safety compliance.
Ensure all safety requirements are being performed - this includes site specific safety plans, audits, tool box talks, pre-task planning and being proficient in using Industry Safe.
Document Control:
Review, process, organize, log and distribute Contract Documents (drawings, specifications, schedules, RFIs, Construction Bulletins, etc.) and shop drawings/submittals to appropriate team members (e.g. Harris project team, subcontractors, fab shop and vendors).
Distribute and log all of the above activities for the team.
Assist in drafting, submitting and tracking RFIs and their corresponding responses.
Attend field coordination meetings & distribute meeting notes
Assist in the administration of project specific quality control program and compile documentation.
Administer/update progress drawings and as-built drawings.
Administer project closeout documentation including Operation and Maintenance manuals, spare parts, startup reports, owner training and punch lists.
Scope of Work support:
Assist in the identification, tracking and reporting of changes to original scope of work.
Procurement Support:
Maintain equipment procurement logs.
Assist in management and tracking of tool and equipment rentals.
Order Equipment and coordinate shipping schedules with Purchasing Department.
Job Costing and Labor Tracking/Productivity:
Assist projectmanager and field foreman to track labor productivity in accounting software.
Estimation:
Coordinate with suppliers/vendors to estimate projects.
Perform basic estimating skills utilizing estimating software.
Attend pre-bid, page turn, project turnover and preplanning meetings as required.
Assist in producing and populating scope/proposal letter.
Relationships:
As required, establish industry relationships to ensure project sales growth in the future.
Other tasks & duties:
Other tasks and duties may be necessary due to project specific conditions, and as directed.

Job Description:
L3Harris Fuzing and Ordnance Systems, located in Cincinnati, OH is the established leader in Fuze, Ignition Safety Device, and Height of Burst Sensor development and manufacturing for DoD weapon systems. We are seeking a Specialist Program Manager that must understand projectmanagement processes and have experience leading small to mid-sized projects involving developing technology and products and manufacturing of hardware to meet customer requirements. This position will have profit and loss responsibility and overall authority to lead a matrix team of engineers and operations staff to execute one or more DoD weapon safety device development or production contracts. The Program Manager will typically spend their time; 80% on development of new or manufacturing of existing fuzing and ordnance products, 10% developing proposals for new or follow-on contracts, and 10% on personal and organizational improvement and growth. Essential Functions:
+ Lead Program Team
+ Manage Cost, Schedule and Technical Performance
+ Ability to develop and maintain project documentation, to include: Integrated Master Schedule, Procurement Plans, Quality Plans, Engineering Plans
+ Demonstrated Ability to supervise the execution of project Plans in a Matrix environment, particularly Engineering, Supply Chain and Operations/Manufacturing.
+ Experience effectively managing risk and opportunities.
+ Act as customer point of contact responsible for meeting contractual commitments including the cost, schedule, technical, and quality performance of assigned projects and program(s) within contractual boundaries, company expectations, and established standards.
+ Establish program strategy, vision and tactical direction for program execution by project team
+ Track program performance to integrated master schedule, identify program issues and obtain solutions, such as allocation of resources or alternate technical approaches.
+ Experience organizing and leading Project Status Review meetings and cost analysis with stakeholders. Review project status and budget; manage schedules and prepare status reports for customers and seniormanagement
+ Experience Developing Proposal Bid Strategies, Developing Proposals, Leading the development of Estimates at Complete (EACs) and providing input to the Annual Operating Plan. Coordinate the preparation of proposals, proposal work statements, specifications, and program budgets.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
+ Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.
Preferred Additional Skills:
+ A minimum of 4 years of experience in contributing to business growth by referring new business opportunities to Sales and Management, assisting with proposals, conducting customer-facing presentations, and other support initiatives.
+ A minimum of 4 years of experience with program/projectmanagement or comparable experience in lead roles demonstrating project/program management skill sets, preferably on DoD weapons or safety-critical product development contracts.
+ PMP Certification or equivalent.
+ Strong communication and organizational skills
+ Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, MSProject)
+ Proficient in Earned Value Management
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $127,500 -$236,500. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, Cleveland Ohio, and Vermont is $110,500 - $205,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company-paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.

As PLM Sourcing ProjectManager, you will be responsible for product line sourcing strategy development and execution in both the Continuation and New Product Introduction (NPI) process. This is a cross-functional leadership role with responsibility for projectmanagement and accountability for deadlines, results, and metrics. You will be a central Sourcing interface, to manage engagement with suppliers, development teams, and commodity leaders, to deliver best in class cost, and supply continuity, while mitigating supply chain risk. You will report to the Team Lead, Sourcing ProjectManager.
This is a hybrid role that can be based in our Mayfield Heights, OH or Milwaukee, WI locations.
Your Responsibilities:
Lead and early supplier engagement in Rockwell Automation's Common Product Development (CPD) process.
Lead supplier driven cost improvement activities. Support NPI and Continuation team's product cost targets through establishment of best-in-class cost for new components.
Drive execution of ISC Supply Chain Material Readiness (SCMR) which includes the utilization of the ISC Part Tracker and Critical Part Process risk management.
Reduce product risk through proper sourcing strategy development and execution. Drive use of 'Preferred' suppliers. Provide NPI or Continuation team with supply chain risk assessments which include obsolescence, delivery, currency, logistics, political and other risks.
Projectmanages the communication and activities between the NPI or Continuation team and Sourcing/Procurement. (i.e. source selection, supplier negotiations, sourcing strategy development, supplier issue resolution, etc.) Facilitates the establishment of supply management parameter guidelines with buyers and planners. (i.e. production authorization agreements, schedule agreements, lot size, lead time, logistics, packaging, etc.)
Drive Sourcing Process Improvements through elimination of variation and waste, focusing on continuous process improvement. Promote Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) methodology in the NPI and Continuation teams.
Interface and build relationships with Development Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Component Engineering, Business Unit Management, Sourcing, Operations Management, Industrialization Planning, Supplier Quality, Marketing and Finance.
Conduct tasks in accordance with all applicable health, safety, quality and environmental regulations & laws as well as Rockwell Automation policies and procedures. Policies and procedures include, but are not limited to: Standards of Business Conduct, Intellectual Property, Control Environment, Information Protection, ISO 9000 & ISO 14000.
