Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor in heavy/highway construction projects; perform manual work in preparing surfaces for paving Prepare sites to ensure optimization of construction work procedures Clean construction sites of debris, trash and construction materials Dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, or compact and level earth to grade specifications, using picks, shovels, pneumatic/gas tampers, or rakes. Clean and maintain construction equipment appropriately Provide assistance to Foremen and other supervisors as needed Load and unload trucks and haul and hoist materials Other related duties as required or assigned.
