TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Assist Project Director and Behavioral Health Lead Navigator in SAMHSA annual reports, continuation applications, etc. for Behavioral Health Department. Assist Project Director and Behavioral Health Lead Navigator with integration of behavioral health services and communication between disciplines (psychiatrists, physicians, APRNs, LCSWs, LMHCs, etc.). Attend weekly staff meetings, Behavioral Health Department meetings, and BMC general staff meetings. Communicate effectively with supervisor regarding caseloads, issues regarding supervision, and leave requests. Conduct street and community outreach during working hours, including some nights and weekends as needed. Assist Project Director and Behavioral Health Lead Navigator in the creation, scheduling, and presentation of education sessions/groups for HIV, STD awareness, mental health, Life Skills, substance use, and other BMC services. Distribute preventive materials including safe sex kits, condoms, and flyers. Minimum Qualifications: Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field that is eligible for licensure. Our serene 96-acre campus. clinician-run programs, and experiential, evidence-based therapy services come together to be a sanctuary for healing and recovery. We are seeking a Primary Therapist who can provide individualized support to clients with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. Our therapists have the unique opportunity to integrate their expertise in various modalities within our experiential wilderness-based programming. Our clients experience the outdoors through hiking, backpacking, canoeing, rock climbing, fishing, camping, ropes courses, equine programming, and more. This position is located onsite in Ellenboro, NC. Our campus spans close to 100 acres of agricultural farmland and rolling mountains giving us the unique opportunity to offer programming such as equine and therapeutic animal therapies, outdoor recreation, wood working, gardening, and wholistic therapy methods. The quaint town of Ellenboro is located an about an hour from the Asheville, Charlotte, Greenville and Spartanburg areas.
