Type: Internship (Full-time or Part-time)
Duration: 3-6 months
Full-time: $8,000-$10,000 / month
Work Authorization:
U.S. work authorization required
CPT / OPT supported
Company: DeepReach AI
Team: Robotics Research & Deployment
About DeepReach
DeepReach is a fast-moving robotics startup focused on real-world robot deployment and task-specific model training. We work at the intersection of teleoperation, deployment data, and embodied AI, helping robots move from lab demos to reliable, production-ready systems in customer environments.
The Role
As a Technical Content & Communications Intern, you will work directly with the Founder and the Research team to bridge the gap between complex Physical AI and the global market. You won't just write manuals; you will be the voice of DeepReach, turning our breakthrough VLA fine-tuning, teleoperation systems, and real-world deployment missions into compelling narratives for LinkedIn, social media, and industry whitepapers, focusing on production environments like factories and warehouses. This role is ideal for a storyteller who can translate a 10-minute technical "brain dump" into a high-impact post with a strong hook.
Key Responsibilities
Founder Ghostwriting: Collaborate with the Founder to translate high-level insights on robot deployment, teleoperation, and embodied AI into engaging LinkedIn posts and long-form thought leadership articles.
Social Media Strategy: Manage and grow the company's social presence by highlighting real-world deployment "wins" and research milestones.
Marketing Collateral: Convert internal technical research and deployment case studies into digestible marketing materials, blog posts, and newsletter content for customers, partners, and the research community.
Narrative Development: Turn complex concepts in robotics, VLA models, and imitation learning into compelling narratives for a technical and business audience.
Visual Coordination: Work with the robotics team to select the best robot "action shots," deployment videos, or data visualizations to accompany external-facing content.
Documentation Oversight: Maintain technical accuracy in content related to software libraries, deployment procedures, and research findings, ensuring alignment with the brand voice.
Requirements
Platform Knowledge: Deep understanding of the LinkedIn algorithm, formatting, and engagement strategies.
Narrative Flow: Ability to take raw technical information (e.g., on teleoperation or model training) and turn it into clear, concise, and engaging content with a strong hook.
Portfolio: Must provide a portfolio of published technical articles, blog posts, or demonstrated social media growth metrics (not just Git documentation).
Technical Aptitude: Background in Technical Communication, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with a passion for robotics and AI.
Communication: Exceptional written English skills with the ability to explain complex robotics and AI concepts simply.
Work Mode: Comfortable working onsite and collaborating closely with the Founder and engineers in a fast-paced startup environment.
Authorization: U.S. work authorization required (CPT / OPT supported).
Preferred Qualifications
Visual Literacy: Experience with basic video editing or photo selection for social media platforms.
R&D/Technical Environment Experience: Prior experience working in a research-heavy or engineering environment and communicating directly with technical teams.
Technical Tools: Familiarity with Markdown, Git, or similar documentation toolchains.
Emerging Tech: A strong interest in bridging the gap between cutting-edge robotics research (e.g., VLAs, imitation learning) and production-ready systems.
What You'll Gain
Shape the external narrative of a high-growth, real-world robotics startup.
Gain unique insight into teleoperation, deployment data, and task-specific model training from the inside.
Direct mentorship from the Founder and senior Research leads.
High-ownership role with the opportunity to see your content directly impact the company's market presence.
Hands-on experience in a fast-iteration startup environment with potential for future opportunities.
