What you will do in this role: * Transport patients to and from clinical, ancillary and support areas via wheelchair, stretcher or van service as requested to include transport of patients with oxygen tanks, intravenous pumps, drips and special equipment. * Assist clinical personnel in transferring patients to and from beds, wheelchairs or stretcher as requested. * Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety, environmental and infection control standards. * Cleans, sterilizes and or disinfects areas and/or equipment. * Enhances professional growth and development through participating in educational programs, current literature, workshops, and In-service meetings, etc. * Shall be actively involved in the TQM process and present creative solutions to processes. * Other tasks as assigned.
