THE OPPORTUNITY:
The Personal Lines Client Service Specialist is responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients and their co-workers. They work collectively with assigned account managers to provide support in selling and servicing to our current and new clients.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Provides professional, courteous service to our clients, carrier representatives, underwriters, business partners, and HUB colleagues, resulting in a rate of account retention that meets or exceeds expectations.
* Provides a high level of support to our Sales staff in obtaining, maintaining, and expanding business.
* May also be responsible for account rounding and the development of new business as appropriate and in accordance with standard practices, policies, and procedures.
* Acts as liaison between clients and insurance carriers to resolve escalated complex service issues that require policy interpretation and experience-based judgment to resolve. May also negotiate with underwriters and carriers. Troubleshoots claims and billing issues.
* Produce binders, certificates, endorsements, and other related items while verifying their accuracy.
* Maintain controls on renewals and binders to ensure timely preparation and processing.
* Prepare summaries of insurance, schedules, and proposals as needed for account review.
* Remarket renewals, contact clients, create renewal proposals and handle other renewal activities in coordination with the producer and/or Account Manager.
* Gather underwriting, pricing, and supporting data for preparation of submission.
* Assist Producers and/or Account Managers in the premium collection process and handle accounting issues.
* Responsible for follow up on delinquent accounts which have been set to cancel for non-payment by the carrier.
* Refers current and prospective clients to other departments for solicitation of those lines of business.
* Assist clients with claims when necessary.
* Maintains accurate and organized account files by appropriately documenting conversations with clients and carrier representatives; updates all HUB computer systems and automated agency management systems; ensures the accuracy of data.
* Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* High School Diploma / GED; College degree strongly preferred
* 1-2 years of related insurance experience (brokage experience preferred) or equivalent combination of education & experience strongly preferred
* Preferred to be currently licensed in good standing in required lines and states but not required. If unlicensed, must be willing to work towards obtaining license for required lines and states within 1 year of hire.

Job Summary:

This means assisting in enhancing and developing SEC compliance programs and infrastructure. Responsibilities:
Compliance
* Aid in the administration and follow up of the firm's Code of Ethics and other policies and procedures designed to prevent violations of the federal securities laws such as the SEC Investment Adviser Act of 1940;
* Assist in conducting ongoing compliance reviews, internal investigations and surveillance to evaluate and test for compliance with applicable SEC rules, regulations, and internal policies;
* Recommend workable action plans for identifying and correcting material compliance weaknesses;
* Keep up to date with new regulatory requirements and ensure communication of best practices/new rules to appropriate staff within the Firm.
* Assist in preparing an annual written report to leadership on the operation, adequacy, and effectiveness of the policies and procedures which support Rule 206(4)-7.

* Develop and support SEC compliance training and education initiatives for RPW RIAs.

Requirements:
* Must possess a Juris Doctor (JD) degree and demonstrate a strong understanding of legal principles relevant to corporate governance, compliance, and strategic business initiatives.
* 10+ years' experience as a senior SEC regulatory compliance professional for either a large financial services firm or in-house Legal team.
* Experience leading a team and preferably, leading a function as the senior leader of that function
* Solid familiarity with investment advisor business activities
* Experience developing, monitoring, and enforcing appropriate policies and procedures.
* Ability to confront difficult issues and challenge others when necessary.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly the ability to clearly communicate technically complex SEC regulatory developments, issues, and analysis in actionable ways.
* The ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize a varied workload and competing priorities in a fast-paced, and at times unpredictable or demanding environment.
* Public speaking as well as oral presentation and written skills a plus.

THE OPPORTUNITY:
The Personal Lines Account Executive manages an assigned book of business, develops client relationships and delivers to grow and retain clients. * Establish and maintain strong and productive professional relationships with "C-Level" and other decision makers for assigned HUB clients.
* Obtains a detailed knowledge of the client's business and industry, articulates applicable exposures to loss, insurance coverages, and appropriate/available risk management/control solutions.
* Establish and maintain strong and productive professional relationships with insurance carrier marketing, underwriting, and risk control staff, including a detailed familiarity with each carrier's products and services in support of assigned clients.
* Directly oversee and coordinate the delivery of all HUB services to assigned clients throughout the policy cycle, including stewardship reports, delivery of risk control services, carrier meetings, claims reviews, preparation of coverage outlines, and marketing of emergent and renewal coverage requests.
* Work cooperatively and professionally with AM colleagues to deliver HUB services as described above, using the interface as an opportunity to teach, train, and mentor AM team members.

* Ensure that all client service needs are promptly and professionally delivered, either directly by the AE or via HUB colleagues (e.g. AMs, Small Business Unit, Risk Control, etc.). The AE is accountable for the competence, timeliness, and quality of all deliverables to the client.
* Conduct annual review w/clients making coverage and loss control recommendations focused on reducing the clients total cost of risk.
* Identify opportunities for cross-sell and up-sell of other HUB products and services when appropriate for the clients needs, initiating same. At all times, be knowledgeable about and document what other insurance products and services the clients are purchasing through other providers and who those providers are.
* Work with the Producer, if assigned, or be primarily responsible for maintaining current receivable status for assigned clients. Proactive efforts to collect receivables more than 30 days past-due should be undertaken, with each unresolved circumstance documented and reported to accounting.
* Designs and delivers effective group presentations using various media, including but not limited to: conducting internal training to a sales or renewal presentation at a client's office.
* Performs other duties and projects as assigned.

The pay range for the role is $95,000 to $145,000. The specific offer will depend on an applicant's skills and other factors.
