With over 30 years of experience I understand the various obstacles, challenges, and difficulties the prison and reentry population may face. I am a driven outreach ambassador and passionate advocate for the reentry and prison population. I have served in roles such as Job Specialist, Case Manager, Project Director of a successful $1.2 million Department of Labor (DOL) REXO grant, and as a Employment Programs Supervisor providing assistance for the reentry population transitioning back into society. I continuously work in collaboration with numerous organizations and families to build a myriad of support networks. My passion as an advocate pushes me to continuously seek improvement for myself and others. I am a member of the Los Angeles Mayor's Blue Ribbon Committee on Employment Equity, and I have previously served on the State Steering Committee for the Alternative to Violence Project (AVP), and the Board of State Community and Corrections Executive Steering Committee for CVIP.
