Responsibilities:
• Assist with drafting project layouts, planting plans, and irrigation plans under supervision.
• Support the creation and organization of plan sets and presentation materials.
• Help review construction documents and cost estimates for accuracy and learning purposes.
• Participate in coordination with field staff and contractors to observe how construction issues are resolved.
• Contribute to the preparation and coordination of bond issues and inspection documents with guidance from staff.
• Learn and support basic project scheduling tasks to understand delivery milestones.
• Collaborate with team members and Project Managers to support client goals and ensure quality project outcomes.
• Perform other duties as assigned, aligned with the intern's learning objectives.
Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field from an accredited program.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and interest or foundational experience in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Knowledge of construction techniques, plant materials, and sustainable design practices is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
