Primary Purpose of Position
Demonstrates mastery of skills and extensive subject matter knowledge in carrying out assignments associated with the analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation, and modification of plant specific nuclear maintenance and technical training programs (Chemistry, Engineering, Maintenance: Electrical, Instrumentation, and Mechanical, and Radiation Protection).
Primary Duties and Accountabilities
Drives the clean energy center (CEC) and personnel performance improvement through the use of training. Coordinates, and conducts performance-based maintenance and technical training programs as required by user community in accordance with Constellation's systematic approach to training model, department procedures, and with proper application of the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation phases.
Assures the training programs are maintained current and incorporate information gained from Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO) Significant Operating Experience Reports and Constellation Nuclear Event Reports (NERs), Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) Bulletins and Information Notices, CEC design change and backfit information, CEC procedure changes and revisions, new regulations, and training effectiveness reports.
Prepares trainee examination and conducts trainee evaluations for classroom, laboratory, OJT, and simulator environments, as appropriate and conducts counseling sessions for trainees, evaluates the results, and recommends/develops individualized training programs.
Support CEC and fleet in the areas of business initiatives, project management, refuel outage support, emergency preparedness duties, and special projects.
Participates in NRC, INPO and management audits, and prepares responses to audit findings.
Maintains knowledge of plant operations, disciplinary skills and techniques, commensurate with the responsibility to develop and conduct effective, high- quality training.
Supervises the collection and maintenance of auditable training records and reports required to document training program activities.
Perform other job assignments and duties as directed by management or pursuant to company policy, including but not limited to emergency response, departmental coverage, call outs, and support of outage activities in positions outside the department.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma/GED with 3 years of nuclear technical discipline experience or 5 years of related (applicable discipline instruction) experience OR
Associate's/Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (e.g. chemistry, engineering, health physics, mathematics, physics), education or training with 2 years of related technical discipline experience or 4 years of related (applicable discipline instruction) experience
The requirements as outlined above meet or exceed ANSI/ANS-3.1-2014 (4.5.4) Standard, "Selection, Qualification, and Training of Personnel for Nuclear Power Plants"
Maintain minimum access requirement or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties

Our program provides one of the more robust OB experiences in the Northeast for our 12-12-12 residency program. Highland Hospital delivers approximately 3000 babies per year and has historically had an impressively low 20% Cesarean rate. Our longstanding Surgical Obstetrics fellowship is expanding from 2 to 4 fellows per year with a new emphasis on training physicians for rural practice funded by our recent HRSA grant.
This one-year faculty appointment is designed to train Family Medicine physicians in high risk/surgical obstetrics and management of common newborn conditions. You will be trained in cesarean sections, postpartum tubal ligations, obstetric ultrasound, newborn resuscitation and stabilization, care of newborns in the Special Care Nursery, rural health care and care of high-risk obstetrical conditions.
Your responsibilities, which will be based at Highland Hospital, will include:

Job Responsibilities
35% Instruction/Training: Understand and utilize established driving curriculum and training techniques. Plan and prepare efficient lessons tailored to students' needs in an engaging and positive learning environment. Have ability to read audience and know when to redirect or reinforce learning material. Understand school program requirements. Ensure AAA Core Values are thoroughly demonstrated in all instructional functions. Discuss student progress and performance with parents or guardians, if applicable. Resolve customer concerns using problem solving skills.
25% Scheduling/Productivity: Effectively schedule student driving lessons to meet the needs of the department and students. Communicate with students or parents regarding schedules, cancellations or rescheduled lessons. Ensure compliance with outlined department standards regarding productivity. Resolve customer concerns using problem solving skills.
25% Administrative: Provide weekly lesson and License to Learn (LTL) schedules to admin staff. Submit student records and other paperwork as required. Ensure that student and timekeeping records are accurate, neat, and consistent. Remain to up to date on work email, company required trainings, & other related items. Secure student files, Club owned vehicles, and other property.
15% Safety: Ensure sound judgement is exhibited in determining student preparedness for various driving situations. Display procedural excellence in adherence to all related DMV/traffic laws; as well as all Club safety, SOP requirements, & training documentation.
Job Specific Requirements
Must be able to pass a Club and DMV background check.
General knowledge of AAA Driver Programs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Develop and maintain current expertise in teaching responsibilities, including but not limited to

* Teach online components of the course in alignment with the hybrid course model and active learning strategies.
* Identify and address areas of student support needed for retention, persistence, and ultimate progression toward graduation.
* Provide a minimum of 2.5 hours of scheduled office hours each week for student support, academic advising, and individual guidance (i.e., caring contracts).
* Participate in exam analysis and question review sessions to ensure assessments are fair, accurate, and aligned with course learning outcomes.
