As a Business Development Representative, here's a big-picture view of what you'll do:
Develop and maintain relationships with home care referral sources and prospective clients such as physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities and assisted living facilities, to grow and increase sales
Create and implement account development strategies to target, nurture and grow accounts
Prepare and conduct sales presentations to organizations and community resources with access to prospective home care clients
Track and report all prospecting, account development, referral and sales activity
Meet with operational managers to monitor customer service levels and review target accounts

Education & Credentials

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of VBR and CIN to lead the development, execution, and optimization of our value-based care contracts and our Clinically Integrated Network (CIN). This role will oversee all aspects of performance-based reimbursement models, payer relationships, provider engagement, and population health strategies to ensure financial sustainability and clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Value-Based Reimbursement (VBR):
Lead the strategic development and implementation of VBR programs including shared savings, capitation, bundled payments, and risk-based models.
Manage payer negotiations and contract performance for Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers.
Monitor financial and clinical performance metrics and ensure alignment with contractual obligations.
Collaborate with finance, analytics, and clinical teams to track ROI and optimize contract performance.
Clinically Integrated Network (CIN):
Drive the growth and governance of the CIN, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and value-based goals.
Onboard providers into the CIN with a focus on engagement and performance accountability.
Lead clinical integration initiatives that support care coordination, data sharing, and evidence-based care delivery.
Ensure provider alignment with quality metrics, incentive programs, and population health targets.
Leadership & Strategy:
Collaborate with executive leadership to design and implement strategic plans that support organizational goals in VBR and CIN.
Lead multidisciplinary teams and oversee project execution across departments.
Serve as a subject matter expert on market trends, CMS initiatives, payer models, and policy updates.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required; Master's in Health Administration, Public Health, Business, or related field preferred.
Minimum 4-5 years of experience in both VBR (value-based reimbursement) and CIN (clinically integrated networks) with proven leadership and operational success.
Strong knowledge of healthcare contracting, risk adjustment methodologies, and payer-provider relations.
Familiarity with MACRA, MSSP, ACO models, and commercial VBR arrangements.
Exceptional analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Experience working within health systems, MSOs, ACOs, or physician groups preferred.
