International Fertilizer Development Center CEO and leadership

At present Henk is COO/CFO of www.IFDC.org and Program Director www.2scale.org implemented by IFDC, SNV and BoP Innovation Center. Henk was CEO at BoP Innovation Center till April 1st 2019, a social enterprise accelerating business oriented development at the base of the pyramid in close cooperation with SME agribusiness. Besides his work at 2SCALE he is MD and founder of Dutch Consultant & Management in Agribusiness and former Vice President of the network of Netherlands Agro, Food & Technology Centers (NAFTC). Over the past 30 years, Henk has been involved as project initiator and Chief of Party, responsible for the development, implementation and set-up of numerous large scale and interdisciplinary programs and national or international public private partnerships (PPP) in Europe, Africa and Asia. In 2SCALE, Henk will lead a large team in eight countries to deliver on many Food and Nutrition Security and Private Sector Development indicators, through at least 60 PPPs contributing to a number of Sustainable Development Goals.

Bastiaan Huesken is a Chief of Party - Private Seed Sector Development (PSSD) at International Fertilizer Development Center and is based in Burundi. He has worked as Intern at The HEINEKEN Company, Research Assistant at GfK, and River Transport Portfolio Manager at Adam Smith International. Bastiaan attended Overseas School of Colombo between 2002 and 2006, The Australian National University between 2009 and 2010, and SOAS between 2010 and 2011.

Dave Hirst is a Graduate Student at Manchester Metropolitan University, Deputy Chief Of Party at International Fertilizer Development Center, and Alumnus at The University of Texas at Austin and is based in Manchester, Greater Manchester, United Kingdom. He studied at UNIVERSITY OF MANCHESTER between 2001 and 2002 and Loughborough University between 2012 and 2017.

David Glenn is a Chief of Party - Agro-Inputs and Farm Services Project at International Fertilizer Development Center and is based in Myanmar. He has worked as Training Certification Specialist at GIZ/EU Funded project - FARM EU, Grocery Store Food Hub Study- New Venture Advisors at CONNEMARA CONSULTING LIMITED, and Executive Director at Montezuma School to Farm Project. David attended College of Education, Michigan State University and Michigan State University between 1975 and 1982.

Chief of Party and Country Representative IFDC Uganda at International Fertilizer Development Center

Musa Taylor is a Deputy Chief Of Party / Technical Director at International Fertilizer Development Center, TRAINING COORDINATOR at International Fertilizer Development Center, and Deputy Chief Of Party at IFDC GHANA and is based in Ghana. He studied at Assam Don Bosco University Guwahati between 2014 and 2016.

Over three decades of experience in development management, situation assessment, institutional development and capacity building in Africa, including over 18 years as Chief of Party and/or Regional/Country Representative. Extensive experience in designing, managing and implementing both regional trade and agricultural development programs. Wide experience and expertise in agricultural value chain development, including crop and livestock production, processing and marketing in developing countries. Over 12 years of experience in developing and implementing food security programs. In depth knowledge and experience in techniques for establishing coordinated/collaborative systems for information gathering, analysis and development of appropriate humanitarian responses/interventions. Considerable experience in U.S. Government planning, analysis and evaluation.
