Teamwork. Teamwork crossed all different departments willing to help to find a solution and you don’t feel like you’re having to do it all alone.
Autonomy. My supervisor tells me that they have a faith in me to get the job done correctly perks about the company are company hikes on the weekends. We have a company sponsored appreciation event during the summer. We try to incorporate events when people have babies the management team tries really really hard to be inclusive.
I like how they put the employee first. The CEO Chris Pretti is amazing. He is very engaged with the staff and personally I like how he tries to remember every single person‘s name.
The company culture has been an ongoing process to continue to improve along with the HR leader ship trying to spearhead way. Culture is evolving and JHS tries very diligently to make sure that we have a facility where people are treated with respect, dignity, and encouraged to grow
I prepared for my interview by doing a lot of research about the company before going in. I had an opportunity to know exactly who I was speaking with so that allowed me some prep time to learn more about that person.
Compensation at JHS is above par for the Spokane market. We have a 24 seven facility, so we have the ability to pay shifter differentials for some of those less desirable shifts.
I think JHS we do an amazing job of creating an inclusive workforce that is diverse. The plant itself is sitting in an area that could be perceived, as less desirable by some however, the industry is able to bring in hundreds of different types of individuals all within the Spokane market, including people outside of the area as well. We have been able to create a very diverse culture in the business we have a wide range of age with an arm employees and skill sets
What brings me the most joy at work is the ability to be a part of the team that wants to help the business grow and succeed. I’m fortunate enough that I get to work hands on with all of our new hires as they join the company, and I get to help set them up for success And watch them grow
