From your PASSION to ours Candidates will be responsible for running and cleaning multiple pieces of equipment which include the cheese molders, cooker, DMC and brine system. From your EXPERTISE to ours Key responsibilities for this position include: 1. Ability to start-up, maintain sanitation, perform CIP, shutdown and operate machinery. Also to include troubleshooting machinery when needed. 2. Monitors key processing indicators such as time, temperature, pH, moisture and weight. 3. Maintains production in a continuous flow operation. 4. Will be in control of daily production and sanitation paperwork; filling it out properly and making comments of any non-compliance results. 5. Ensures Food Safety and Security as required per the Plant's GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and GSP (Good Sanitation Practices) Policy and Procedures. 6. Performs other work duties as requested by the Mozzarella Production Supervisor. 7. Responsible for working efficiently and safely to produce a high quality product. The Quality Assurance Intern will have the responsibility to manage the documentation upload and update in LAG customers and suppliers' portals within the Quality Assurance Department. This department is responsible for the technical data for the many various dairy products manufactured by LAG division for the entire USA and as well as countries around the world. The Quality Documentation Specialist Intern will support a team of QA professionals with daily administrative tasks in the QA department. The internship is a full-time position for one year, and is based out of Buffalo, NY. Requirements From your EXPERTISE to ours Key responsibilities for this position include: * Manage customers' portals as needed: Upload customer requests such as 3rd party audit information, customer specific audits, customer specific letters, info such as code dates, packaging, case labels, nutritional info, ingredient listings, food safety documents, kosher/halal certificates, questionnaires, etc. * Organize and validate with hierarchy the responses to customer special requests based on QA policies. * Manage the data collection process with LAG suppliers to fulfill QA supplier policies in Lactalis Portal software. * Assure that documentation collected and required by Lactalis QA policies is current and accurate. * Ensure appropriate authorization is obtained for spec requests and facilitate the circulation of the prepared document for approval; make official spec readily available. * Prepare progress reports for suppliers and customers upload data in the documentation portals.
