Summary:
The ICU Registered Nurse is responsible for providing comprehensive, critical care to patients in the intensive care unit. Essential Work Functions:
Assess and monitor critically ill patients, recognizing and responding to subtle changes in patient condition
Administer complex medications and treatments in accordance with approved critical care nursing techniques

Perform and interpret advanced hemodynamic monitoring, including arterial lines, central venous pressure, and pulmonary artery catheters

Provide education to patients and families regarding the ICU environment, treatments, and recovery expectations
Communicate closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient care
Maintain proficiency in critical care procedures and technologies through ongoing education and training
Adhere to strict infection control protocols to protect immunocompromised patients and reduce risks
Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance ICU patient outcomes and operational efficiency

We are currently seeking a Fuel Transport Driver with an excellent driving record. Experience in the petroleum industry is preferred but not required. The right candidate will have a Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements and a minimum of 1 year's tractor/trailer driving experience. Responsible for the supervision of residential supervisor, and employees and overseeing operations of the residential programs. Responsible for a variety of tasks, to ensure the safety and welfare of members in compliance with the Arizona Department of Economic Security - Division of Developmental Disabilities (DES-DDD) and the Arizona Department of Health Services (DHS) Licensure. Provide all aspects of supervision through verbal and written administrative guidance to employees.

Maintain and update complete, accurate, and current information in Confidential Files in accordance with DES-DDD Licensure, and New Horizons Administrative Policies.
Review and provide follow-up on Incident Reports. Report all Serious Incidents (SIR) to appropriate New Horizons personnel in a timely manner.
Responsible for prompt reporting of all Hospital Admissions, Emergency Physical Intervention Techniques (Prevention & Support), and Serious Incident Report to DDD designated timelines.
Responsible for updating and maintaining all forms in the electronic lists section and distributing them (as applicable).
Monitor ledgers to ensure adequate funds are available. Request checks/ funds to purchase needed items and services for members.

Advocate for all members to ensure needed medical services/appointments are obtained in a timely manner and confirmed in advance.
Ensure all medical referrals and lab appointments are scheduled in advance, noted on the Electronic Calendar, and processed in a timely manner.
Review completed paperwork to ensure the completion of follow-up recommendations made by physician/specialist for all evaluations, routine medical appointments, and ER/Urgent Care and hospitalizations.
Responsible for completing medical emergency paperwork, fill/start prescriptions/procedures, submit paperwork in a timely manner to appropriate personnel, and communicating follow-up and end-of-shift updates via email and/or voicemail.
Monitor the accuracy and completion of required hospital and/or medical/dental consents, and to ensure they are received prior to all procedures being completed.
Ensure medical paperwork is legible. Seek clarification from a physician/specialist when necessary. Complete a Progress Note as needed. Ensure documents are signed by the physician/specialist before processing.

MANAGEMENT/SUPERVISORY
Serve as primary supervisory contact for DSP Staff in each assigned home.
Ensure, through delegation, monitoring, and/or completion that all medical procedures are followed, and residential lead and employees are fully informed of same.
Facilitate positive and professional direct-support interaction with members.

Enforces established policies, rules, and regulations of course.
Receives and responds to complaints from golfers.
Operates a motor vehicle to assist in carrying out the business of the department and the City.
Attendance at work is an essential function of this position.
Saturdays are required as well as Holiday weekends like Memorial weekend, etc.

Relieve other personnel at the golf course when necessary.
