Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook to join our culinary team. A creative, self-motivated, reliable person who has the desire to produce high-quality food in a great atmosphere. Someone who interacts well with members & kitchen staff and at least 1 year's country club or restaurant line experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Work quickly and independently on the line.
Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, labeling and storing food.
Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables. weigh, measure, and mix ingredients.
Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist.
Prepare cold food.
Operate ovens, stoves, grills, and fryers.
Set-up and break down workstation.
Wash and disinfect kitchen area, tables, floor, tools, knives, and equipment.
Qualifications
Minimum one year experience cooking in a fast pace kitchen environmnet.
Must have a valid driver's license
Familiarity with all kitchen equipment
Banquet prep knowledge a plus
Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required by the golf schedule.
Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a team-oriented attitude.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions including heat and humidity.
Work Conditions
Working in a kitchen environment with warmer temperatures in the kitchen and working around hot ovens, stoves, fyers and grills
Fast-paced, physically active role requiring walking, bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods (5 hours) without sitting

What You'll Do
