What You'll Do Perform installations, commissioning, and start-ups of industrial boiler and steam-generating equipment Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and controls issues at customer sites Work with PLC/HMI systems (connect, navigate, and troubleshoot-not write code) Conduct combustion testing and tune burners using analyzers and meters Provide remote technical support when not traveling Complete field service reports, documentation, and communicate findings clearly Lead onsite activities and interact professionally with customers and contractors Travel across the U.S. and internationally (some trips a few days, some multiple weeks) What We're Looking For Boiler or burner experience strongly preferred 3+ years in field service, industrial maintenance, or related technical roles Strong electrical & mechanical troubleshooting skills Ability to read electrical wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, and piping diagrams Comfort with PLC/HMI interfaces (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, RS Logix, etc.) Experience using hand tools, test meters, and combustion analyzers Self-motivated, professional, and able to work independently on customer sites Valid passport or ability to obtain one (international travel required) OSHA 10/30, TWIC, or related certifications are a plus Travel Expectations 75-90% travel Combination of air and driving, depending on location Domestic + international work Trips may range from 2 days to 3+ weeks depending on customer needs
