Job Summary:
We are seeking a Production Technicianto perform incoming quality control (IQC) for electronic circuit assembly boards (PCBAs) and troubleshoot defective products to ensure they meet Supermicro's design standards and customer expectations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Conduct visual inspections and functional testing for electronic assembly boards (PCBAs).

* Execute engineering change orders (ECO) and model change tasks as required.

Qualifications:

* Minimum of 1-year experience in the electronics or computer industry.
* Hands-on experience in production testing of PCBAs is a plus.
* Familiarity with technical tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, or diagnostic software is beneficial.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented production environment.
* Comfortable working in a physically active role, including standing for extended periods and operating in a loud production setting.

Job Summary:
The MaintenanceTechnician is responsible for installing, repairing and maintaining large industrial textile processing equipment, as well as facility maintenance. The Facilities Maintenance Mechanic is a skilled generalist, performing at a journey-level in one trade with strong skills in other trades. Incumbents independently perform a variety of skilled preventative and general maintenance, repair, construction, and renovation work on facilities and systems, particularly in the electro-mechanical trades.
Key Responsibilities
* Performs the full range of skilled journey-level facility maintenance electro-mechanical work and assist, in at least one trade, with basic and advanced level maintenance and minor repair work for various trades including HVAC/Controls, plumbing, carpentry, mechanical, painting, lock and electrical
* Operate, test, install, repair and perform corrective and preventative maintenance on mechanical facilities equipment and systems including HVAC and plumbing systems
* Assist in the installation, maintenance and repair of plumbing and HVAC systems
* Inspect completed work for conformance with specifications, requirements, and compliance with applicable building and safety codes and regulations; inspect related work performed by contractors
* Tests, maintains, and repairs equipment such as generators and Automatic Transfer Switches
* Prepare standard reports
* Estimates cost, time and materials of maintenance, repair and renovation work
* Respond to service requests; diagnose problems and make necessary adjustments
* Uses computer for communicating, researching parts and specifications, coordinating, documenting work details, and recording time log
* Tests and troubleshoots parts, equipment and systems using testing tools for diagnosis
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
* Basic knowledge of electrical theory and mechanical principles
* Working knowledge of applicable building and safety codes and regulations related to facilities, systems and renovations
* Ability to perform arithmetic calculations as required by the position
* Ability to communicate effectively and work harmoniously with a diverse group of individuals throughout the organization as well as those outside of the organization who are directly or indirectly involved with projects and/or assignments
* Ability to read, interpret and work from blueprints, plans, drawings and specifications.
* Ability to make rough sketches and to estimate the cost, time and materials of assigned work.
* Ability to analyze and respond appropriately to emergency situations
* Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds occasionally
* Ability to operate a motor vehicle, utility cart, scissor lift, boom lift, and forklift (as certified) and other equipment and tools required to successfully complete assignments
* Possession of a valid California Driver's License is required at time of hire for the operation of any vehicle required for this position
Required Qualifications
* Four years of increasingly responsible experience leading to journey-level skills in facility repair and maintenance, or any reasonable equivalent combination of training and experience as a facilities maintenance mechanic which demonstrates the achievement of journey-level skills equivalent to that acquired through completion of an applicable apprenticeship program
* Requires the possession of a valid California Driver's License for the operation of any vehicle or equipment required for position and in any emergency situation
* Must participate in all OSHA required physicals and examinations
License
A valid driver's license is required for this position. Out of state candidates selected for the position must obtain a State of California driver's license within 10 days of hire in accordance with the California Department of Motor Vehicles regulations.
Once hired the employee must successfully complete the Defensive Driver Training Program provided by the State of California for California State University campuses.

About the role
The Service Technician diagnoses and completes repairs on customer vehicles in a professional, timely manner while ensuring quality repairs at a fair cost to the customer.
*Salary Range is $35.00/Hour - $60.00/Hour depending on experience.
Essential Duties
Daily planning with the rest of the service team to establish repair strategies based on job priorities.
Determine work required from the repair order.
Diagnose vehicle in operation to determine issue, to verify customers complaint, and to plan repair strategy.
Complete repairs efficiently within the time allowed.
Perform QUALITY repairs minimizing shop comebacks and unnecessary shop expense.
Submit a complete and accurate write-up for each repair performed.
Road test vehicles to verify satisfactory repair (if you possess a CDL)
Manual and computerized time posting on a ongoing basis.
Confirm that all cores are returned to parts and that warranty parts are properly tagged and stored.
Coordinate with the rear parts counter, as needed on parts needed for the repair.
Maintain a clean shop environment. Throw out trash from your repair. Return tools to the cage. Roll up and store drop lights and extension cords.
Maintain the readiness and proper working condition of the shop tools. Make adjustments and minor repairs as needed. Notify Service Manager if a needed tool is not quickly repairable.
Assist the Service Team with preparing accurate repair estimates when required.
Update Service Manager on current repairs in process on a regular basis.
Participate in ongoing training in an effort to increase skills.
Maintain current certifications.
Work in a safe manner. Do not put yourself, a customer, a fellow employee, or a vehicle in harms way.
Provide and maintain a full set of hand tools and air tools.
Leave the customers vehicle in the same or cleaner condition than when you started repair. Use seat covers and floor mats.
Be punctual at the start of your shift and when returning from lunch and breaks.
Do not exceed one hour on diagnosis without approval from the Service Manager.
Bring any additional repairs, immediately to the attention of the Service Team
Always wear your safety glasses when on the shop floor.
Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations regarding disposal of hazardous waste, OSHA, MSDA, right-to-know, etc,
Conduct oneself in a professional manner reflecting the importance that the customer has in our business. Without the customer, we are out of business.
