Apply PVC coating to quartz and borosilicate glassware. 8. Perform quality inspections. 9. Package chemicals into quartz or stainless steel vessels. 10. Operate a forklift and unload trucks. 11. General Housekeeping duties. 12. Assist with inorganic and organic chemical consolidation. 13. Decontaminate certain stainless steel and quartz vessels and complete any required documentation. 14. Consolidation of hazardous waste. 15. Make computer entries to document all stages of customer returned items. 16. Understand and have knowledge of inventory control and cycle counting. 17. This role operates under the direction of the Director of Engineering and the facilities management team, ensuring all carpentry work conforms to local building codes and strict safety guidelines. Core Carpenter Duties Construction & Installation: Build, install, and repair structures and fixtures using wood, plywood, wallboard, and various other materials, including counters, cabinets, benches, partitions, floors, doors, base code, ceilings, hardware, and building framework/trim. Finish Carpentry: Execute fine finishes using sanding techniques and install glass in windows, doors, and partitions. Repair & Maintenance: Perform repairs and installations on walls, doors, flooring, and ceilings. Address resort outlet general repairs, including related office, common spaces, and grounds. Demolition & Blueprint Interpretation: Safely and promptly demolish walls, ceilings, cabinets, and miscellaneous items; work proficiently from blueprints, detailed drawings, or oral instructions. Three (3) years of journey-level experience as a carpenter in a commercial, industrial, or facilities operations setting, OR 5-7 years in a carpentry-related field. Demonstrated expertise in finish carpentry, drywall, framing, locksets, door closures, and hinges. Key Skills & Attributes Tool Proficiency: Experienced in the safe operation and use of various power and hand tools (saws, sanders, planners, etc.).
