JOB SUMMARY
Under Minimum supervision, the Equipment Tech responds to calls for respiratory therapy equipment and compressed gas cylinders needs throughout the hospital. Responsible for the delivery of compressed gas cylinders, maintenance of respiratory care equipment and support of the respiratory care services staff. Performs all duties that are required of a respiratory care support services technician. Oversees and indirectly manages student tech activities within the department. Also, ensures that all tech services are delivered in accordance with the mission statement and SPIRIT values of Carroll Hospital Center. Under minimal supervision, performs a variety of administrative, secretarial and complex clerical duties for the team. Follows complex oral and written instructions, uses independent judgment and word processing software, follows established office procedures and is familiar with departmental and hospital policies. Performs various clerical and administrative duties depending on administrators needs which may include collecting and preparing data for management assignments, reports and presentations and assisting with monitoring department QI/PI initiatives. Appropriately direct calls takes accurate messages or responds to calls by utilizing knowledge of policies procedures and practices. Works to support audiovisual needs of the dept and produces educational videos and power points for staff meetings, educational events and QI/PI tracking initiatives.

What you'll do on a typical day:
Ensure all facilities and equipment are properly maintained and in good, safe working order
Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on various manufacturing and packing equipment and electrical panels
Perform necessary preventive maintenance in a timely manner
Maintain documentation of preventive maintenance, equipment repair, part usages and other projects
Handle and keep a supply of spare parts inventory
Make sure that equipment is started properly at the beginning of the shift
Properly maintain, inspect and repair machines, equipment, electronics, mechanical conveyor systems and warehouse facilities
Locate sources of problems by observing and listening to mechanical devices in operation; diagnose and make repairs as needed
Maintain and troubleshoot conveyor systems both mechanical and electrical
What you need to succeed at GXO:
At a minimum, you'll need:
2 years of experience as a multi-craft technician
Knowledge of electrical, electronic, pneumatic and mechanical systems, including lighting, power distribution, drives, motors, bearings, conveyor systems preventative maintenance and repair, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and operator interfaces, Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), HVAC systems and controls
Ability to read simple electrical, mechanical and pneumatic drawings
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
It'd be great if you also have:
Degree in related field or specialized vocational technical school or equivalent experience
Experience with robotic operations and maintenance
Experience reading blueprints, electrical schematics, electrical and electronic principles

SUMMARY
The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic will oversee the performance and maintenance of large production machinery and perform general maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and facilities, including plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, heating and cooling, and other building systems. • Remove and install new equipment as needed.
• Take a proactive role in assuring safe, quality products are produced by immediately addressing any safety or quality concerns.

Responsible for pulling orders based on pick ticket to accurately build orders for loading onto delivery trucks.
Build orders according to assigned load tickets using industrial power equipment.
Manually lift and move product to restock and repack ensuring date code accuracy and proper rotation.
Adhere to good manufacturing practices and safety standards.
Responsible for meeting productivity requirements.
Stage completed pallets in designated areas.

What you need to succeed at GXO:

2 years of experience as a multi-craft technician
Knowledge of electrical, electronic, pneumatic and mechanical systems, including lighting, power distribution, drives, motors, bearings, conveyor systems preventative maintenance and repair, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and operator interfaces, Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), HVAC systems and controls
Ability to read simple electrical, mechanical and pneumatic drawings
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
It'd be great if you also have:
Degree in related field or specialized vocational technical school or equivalent experience
Experience with robotic operations and maintenance
Experience reading blueprints, electrical schematics, electrical and electronic principles
