Summary

Essential Job Functions
Responsible for maintaining building facilities using the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to facilitate Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
Collaborates with other technicians to complete tasks and support the Environmental Health & Safety team.
Performs maintenance tasks involving electrical wiring, pneumatics, PLCs, servo motors, inventory management, and spare parts to execute scheduled preventive and unscheduled general maintenance activities.
Install new electrical circuits, ensuring compliance with safety protocols such as Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Hot Work, Arc Flash, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance (PMs) and unscheduled repairs, including troubleshooting electronic circuits and PLCs using schematics and OEM manuals.
Perform mechanical and parameter adjustments, dismantle machines for repairs or PMs, and coordinate with technical support, both internally and externally, for CNC machines and production equipment.
Assist in developing and reviewing new PMs, procedures, and policies.

Essential Qualifications
Thorough knowledge of general gardening and grounds maintenance methods. General knowledge of proper methods of planting, cultivating, and caring for hedges, ornamental trees, shrubs, lawns, and flowers, and the use and care of gardening materials, tools, and equipment. Ability to recognize the more common species of ornamental shrubs, trees and flowers grown in California; perform strenuous physical work as described in this classification; utilize mechanical aptitude and motor coordination; learn to skillfully operate small trucks and power-driven grounds equipment; read and write at a level appropriate to the duties of the position; and follow simple oral and written instructions. One year of experience in the care and maintenance of landscaped areas or in general grounds maintenance work, or in related manual labor.

Essential Job Functions
* Operate heavy equipment including but not limited to bucket loaders with multi attachments, excavator, skid steer, forklift, bulldozers, tractors, dump trucks sweepers, blowers, high-speed runway plows, vacuum sweeper, landscape mowers and similar equipment.
* Assists with snow, ice, and contaminate removal by operating airport-specific equipment on open and closed runways, taxiways and ramps, and safety areas to include the application of surface deicer and sand.

Rake leaves, remove weeds, clean trash from assigned areas including parking lots, and prepare and treat soils for planting. The Groundsworker operates and performs minor maintenance on small and medium-size power mowers, riding mowers, and other gardening power equipment. Essential Qualifications

Ability to recognize the more common species of ornamental shrubs, trees and flowers grown in California; perform strenuous physical work as described in this classification; utilize mechanical aptitude and motor coordination; learn to skillfully operate small trucks and power-driven grounds equipment; read and write at a level appropriate to the duties of the position; and follow simple oral and written instructions.
