Summary
With limited supervision, the QC Associate I is responsible for performing direct materials testing in compliance with cGMP regulations. The role involves executing laboratory testing, reviewing and trending data, supporting investigations (OOS, OOT, OOE), and contributing to laboratory operations and quality objectives. The position works closely with Quality Control leadership to meet departmental and organizational goals.
Responsibilities
Perform basic to moderately complex laboratory testing in compliance with GMP requirements
Review, analyze, and assess test data against established acceptance criteria
Conduct technical review of peer-generated data
Perform trend analysis and assist in establishing limits
Identify discrepancies and support quality investigations and CAPA initiatives
Troubleshoot technical and testing-related issues
Identify gaps in systems, procedures, and laboratory practices
Participate in assay transfer, assay validation, and method-related activities
Perform equipment qualification, calibration, and routine maintenance
Prepare and maintain standards, controls, stocks, cultures, and reagents per procedures
Ensure GMP compliance across laboratory operations
Support internal and external audits and regulatory inspections
Coordinate with internal customers to support multi-site operations
Meet assigned schedules, timelines, and deadlines (95% on-time performance expectation)
Participate in or lead team projects, process improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives
Write protocols, reports, and technical documentation under limited supervision
Provide and receive training as required
Perform additional duties as assigned to support Quality activities
Required Skills
Bachelor's degree (B.S./B.A.) in a relevant scientific discipline with 1-3 years of industry experience OR
Master's degree with at least 1 year of relevant experience
Experience in the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry
Hands-on experience with analytical and/or biological testing procedures
Strong understanding of cGMP regulations and quality systems
Experience with OOS, OOT, and OOE investigations
Exposure to assay transfer, assay validation, and method lifecycle activities
Experience supporting regulatory inspections (FDA, EMA, etc.)
Familiarity with trend analysis and data integrity practices
Prior involvement in process improvement or cross-functional projects
Experience working in multi-site or global operational environments
Ability to apply scientific principles, theories, and techniques in a QC environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills

The Process Tech II takes full ownership of the various processes in the injection molding department and specifically in their assigned area. Their main responsibilities are directed at maintaining optimum daily performance, run efficiency and repeatability of all the Injection department's molds and machinery. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Performs all Set-Up Tech I and Set-up Tech II responsibilities including mold preparation, mold removal, mold installation, and robot and secondary equipment set-up.
Demonstrated ability for maintaining maximum utilization/up time on machinery in assigned area.
Daily monitors all running jobs for adherence to department standards including part quality, cycle time, and part weight conditions.
Takes initiative to troubleshoot and resolve any processing range issues that are abnormal or outside of standard operating procedures.
Works closely with the Sr. Tech Supervisor, Engineering department, Mold Shop, Scheduling and Quality Control departments to perform mold/material testing. Accurately documents test results and makes recommendations.
Strong initiative to perform mold changeovers and lead group efforts to meet schedule adherence requirements. Ability to train others on proper set-up and start-up procedures.
Assists in identification, recommendation and implementation of new procedures to improve department's safety, efficiency and profitability goals.

Operate, monitor, maintain, and respond to abnormal conditions in facilities systems. Areas include Electrical, Mechanical, Building Monitoring, and Control.
Tracking and trending operational characteristics.
Provide feedback to management on the effectiveness of existing standards and processes.
Work with the operations team to complete an aggressive preventive and predictive maintenance schedule
Identify and document maintenance discrepancies and work with site management to resolve site issues based on agreed-upon priorities.
Ensure data center operates at maximum operational efficiency by analyzing existing operating conditions, identifying areas of optimization, and working with site management to implement efficiency improvements.
Manage systems to avoid unplanned, customer-impacting outages.
Coordinate and oversee power installations and upgrades.
Utilize a CMMS system to manage and document maintenance and repair of data center systems.
Use developed policies and procedures to guide and preform work.
Assist in asset and consumable inventory management.
Responsible for tracking and proper labeling of all equipment per established procedures.
Provide day-to-day exceptional customer service and support.
Incident escalation, response, and follow-up report writing.
Maintain and complete regular facility and security tours documenting and responding to identified issues.
Provide applied mechanical and integrated control expertise for the entire data center.
Serve in a technical writing capacity regarding the development and use of procedures for preventative and corrective maintenance activities.
