This position is a full-time onsite Quality Technician position working for Loyal Source Government Services (LSGS). The Quality Technician is responsible for conducting independent, objective assessments of program and site operations to ensure compliance with contractual and Performance Work Statement (PWS) requirements, industry standards to include the National Detention Standard (NDS), and key performance indicators (KPIs). This role requires observing and analyzing operational processes, reporting findings, and tracking improvements with local and LSGS leadership. The Quality Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining quality and ensuring adherence to regulatory and accreditation requirements. The Quality Technician will support a facility that operates 24/7/365 and shift options include evenings, weekends and holidays.
Pay Rate: $28/hr
Duties & Functions:
* Monitors and audits process against established standards and conduct continuous analysis of quality defects and deviations.
* Observe onsite processes, patient or customer satisfaction, and overall operational efficiency and quality.
* Collaborates with site and company leadership to develop solutions identified areas of concern and continuous improvement opportunities.
* Analyze and interpret data from site assessments to identify trends, risks, and areas for improvement.
* Conduct subcontractor management quality reviews per the programs Subcontract Management, Quality Management or Program Management Plans.
* Keep current on industry regulations, quality standards, best practices and process optimization strategies.
* Support updates to inspection protocols and training materials to reflect any new requirements.
* Maintain accurate documentation of assessments and recommendations.
* Prepare and present detailed post-site visit reports summarizing and detailing findings.
* Foster a culture of continual improvement, accountability and excellence.
* Support the development and update of policies and standard operations procedures.
* Design and deliver training programs to staff on quality standards and compliance requirements.
* Foster a culture of continuous improvement and quality awareness among staff.
* The Quality Technician participates with other Quality and facility team members to review requirements, identify controls, develop audit checklists, perform oversight activities, and perform assessments of contractual requirements, environmental and safety checks, local statutes, laws, and regulations, as well as other unique requirements.
Education & Experience:
* Bachelor's degree is preferred (5 years of healthcare quality assurance related experience may be considered equivalent to a bachelor's degree).
* 2 to 4+ years of experience in the quality field, correctional healthcare administration, or medical field is a must.
* Certified Correctional Health Professional (CCHP) or similar certification demonstrating in depth knowledge of detention health services standards and compliance.
* Experience with applying and assessing facilities compliance to the NDS is required.
* Experience with quality and healthcare industry standards. Examples include but are not limited to National Commission on Correctional Healthcare (NCCHC), ISO 9001, National Association for Healthcare Quality (NAHQ), The Joint Commission (TJC), and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).

Work Environment/Condition
This position includes indoor medical services facilities and office space that have general conditions that account for comfort. Multiple buildings on a campus may require travel on uneven walking surfaces.

What you'll do:

at our White Sands Missile Range Base Camp in Orogrande, NM to support our unit rotations schedule. The frequency of the work is 9-10 times a year for about 1500 hours, many of which are overtime hours. Our Surge Technicians work 12 consecutive days during unit rotations and we support approximately 9-10 rotations a year at the Whites Sands Missile Range location.
As a surge technician, your duties include (but are not limited to):
Providing support of test events on military ranges which requires a knowledge of military protocol and standard operating procedures during FTX events.
Applying technical knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and computer skills in support of operations and routine maintenance on EW & Radar systems and their peripheral equipment.
Setting up EW & Radar systems at remote locations, operating the systems in support of test missions, and tearing down the systems once testing is completed.
Work includes cross-utilization into other positions that fall within their scope of work.
Working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment of military test events.
The Engineering Technician IV performs assignments that are not completely standardized or prescribed, selects or adapts standard procedures or equipment, using fully applicable precedents, receives initial instructions, equipment requirements, and advice from supervisor or engineer as needed, performs recurring work independently. Work is reviewed for technical adequacy or conformity with instructions.
Work Conditions:
Conditions will vary as most work will be accomplished outdoors.
Must be able to work outside on the range throughout the year where temperatures and weather conditions will vary.
Physical requirements include: 45% standing, 25% walking, 20% sitting, 5% reaching, 5% lifting, 10% crouching in tight spaces (inside unit vehicle), and you must be capable of lifting 50-100 pounds independently or with assistance from others.

Responsibilities
Packaging technicians are responsible for working in the food production line and to ensure that the best quality standards are being met in the packaging of all eagle brand food products. In addition, the Packaging technician will be responsible for running and maintaining packaging department equipment (conveyors, labelers, scales, palletizers, and other related packaging equipment) performing various tasks to set up, operate, monitor, troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on assigned machines.

Primary Functions:

We are highly focused and, among other efforts, currently operate a dozen active test and/or training ranges for the Army, Air Force and Navy. We are currently looking to hire Engineering Technicians on a
part-time, on-call basis
at our White Sands Missile Range Base Camp in Orogrande, NM to support our unit rotations schedule. The frequency of the work is 9-10 times a year for about 1500 hours, many of which are overtime hours. Our Surge Technicians work 12 consecutive days during unit rotations and we support approximately 9-10 rotations a year at the Whites Sands Missile Range location.
As a surge technician, your duties include (but are not limited to):
Providing support of test events on military ranges which requires a knowledge of military protocol and standard operating procedures during FTX events.
Applying technical knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and computer skills in support of operations and routine maintenance on EW & Radar systems and their peripheral equipment.
Setting up EW & Radar systems at remote locations, operating the systems in support of test missions, and tearing down the systems once testing is completed.
Work includes cross-utilization into other positions that fall within their scope of work.
Working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment of military test events.
The Engineering Technician IV performs assignments that are not completely standardized or prescribed, selects or adapts standard procedures or equipment, using fully applicable precedents, receives initial instructions, equipment requirements, and advice from supervisor or engineer as needed, performs recurring work independently. Work is reviewed for technical adequacy or conformity with instructions.
Work Conditions:
Conditions will vary as most work will be accomplished outdoors.
Must be able to work outside on the range throughout the year where temperatures and weather conditions will vary.
Physical requirements include: 45% standing, 25% walking, 20% sitting, 5% reaching, 5% lifting, 10% crouching in tight spaces (inside unit vehicle), and you must be capable of lifting 50-100 pounds independently or with assistance from others.
This is a part-time on-call position and shift hours vary with mission requirements.
Must be able to work all shifts, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed when called in, sometimes on short notice, to support test missions.
Must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for work tasks assigned.
Due to real-world war-time environments, must be able to handle combat simulation and maneuvering exercises.
May be subjected to loud noises including explosive devices, live gun fire/ammunitions firing war-time simulation, and loud noise generated from inside military vehicles during missions, troop support, and while working on range.

10+ years of electrical and mechanical system maintenance and repair experience.
5+ years of maintenance supervisor/maintenance lead/maintenance planning experience.
3+ years of RF maintenance and repair experience.

Experience working at a government facility helpful, but not required.
Ability to obtain a Forklift Operator license.
