The Manufacturing Associate - 2nd Shift is responsible for efficiently performing all tasks related to the Consumables Department safely. Pall is ready to offer a great position with a leadership opportunity.
This position reports to the VSL - Consumables and is part of the Consumables department located in DeLand, FL and will be an on-site role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Setup and operate all equipment in a related area to produce complicated components, subassemblies, and final assemblies from blueprints and work instructions.
Work under the direction of supervisors, or more experienced personnel, with little supervision
Maintain accurate records, and logs and collect any necessary data for use by Engineering.
The essential requirements of the job include:
High School Diploma, G.E.D. or Equivalent

The Contribution You'll bring to this Role:
We are looking for a Pre-Production Tech that will support our Brooksville, FL operations. This position includes both Prepress and Proofing. For Prepress, the associate will create production-ready layouts for digital printers and other production-based machines utilizing Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Esko Automation, and various RIP Software. Understanding of production processes, digital printers, cutting machines, and other machines is expected. For Proofing, the associate's role will be to create proofs and final art/graphics that will be used to produce custom signs and identification products based on customer input and AccuformNMC design guidelines.

About the Team:
As a member of the Pre-Production Team, your role is crucial in ensuring the smooth transition from design to production. You will be responsible for preparing and finalizing all files needed for digital printing and cutting, ensuring that every layout and proof meets the specific requirements of customers and the business.
What You'll Do at Justrite:
Pre-Production Associate will be expected to pivot between Prepress and Proofing per customer and business demands.
Prepress:
Quickly and efficiently create technically proficient production files for large-format production-based machines.
Understanding how to manipulate and layout digital files based on fractions and precise measurements is required.
Properly utilize Esko Automation Engine and other standard processes to produce efficient layouts quickly.
Ensure the printer operators have all necessary information prior to printing.
Create digital cut files for digital cutting machines.
Revise existing print and cut files as required.
Support printer and cutter operators as required to resolve ripped file issues.
Possess a strong sense of organization.
Capable of multi-tasking and managing multiple workflows and processes is a requirement.
Proofing:
Prepare sign proofs from existing templates for customer approval.
Design signage, recreate logos and vector artwork according to customer specifications utilizing Adobe applications and other design software.
When required, interact directly with customers via email, remote, or phone.
Work on internal projects as required, for example, SOPs, product redesigns, etc.
Work directly with Inside Sales to define product requirements and approve designs.
Understand manufacturing process to estimate cost and feasibility.
Stay current with internet and software technologies used for creative work.
Learn and apply “Lean” tools and initiatives.
Assist in the development of best work practices to promote efficiency and accuracy.
Assist with special projects as requested.
Assist with maintaining artwork files and updated templates.
Support Production, Secondary Operations, and Shipping as required.
Cross train to assist in other areas of Production.
Your Skills and Expertise:
To ensure your success from day one in this role, Justrite requires the following qualifications at a minimum:
Associates degree in Graphic Art and/or 1-2 years' relevant experience preferred.
Experience in digital print and production machine operation a plus but not required.
Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign required.
Previous experience with digital printing, RIP software, Esko Automation and layout software is a plus.
Knowledge of General Manufacturing a plus.

Actual base salaries will vary and may be above or below the recommended pay range based on factors such as but not limited to location, relevant experience and performance. Purpose and Scope:
The Associate III, Downstream Manufacturing, will be a key contributor to manufacturing readiness and future operational output of the manufacturing facility. The role will initially support ongoing commissioning and validation activities as the site works towards GMP production readiness and will provide overall manufacturing operations support that includes yet is not limited to; equipment testing, SOP/batch record generation, validation protocol execution support, as well as cross site tech transfer collaboration.
