Set up molds, start up/trouble shoot molding process. Fully capable to work on any molds and all auxiliary equipment. Work with trainee, as required
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Set molds in presses and run production using pre-existing processes using the established process disc or print out if no disc exists
Train process technician trainee as needed
Troubleshoot molding processes and make basic adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency
Troubleshoot molding machine/tooling malfunctions and communicate information with repair
Provide and implement ideas to improve the efficiency of the molding department
Solve quality problems and work with quality department to identify root causes
Spray mold with “Mold Saver” before removing a clean mold that has finished running
Communicate problems, needs and important information to supervisor
Other duties as assigned
Practice good housekeeping and appropriate measures to prevent pollution or other negative impacts on the environment
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
High School diploma or equivalent
2-5 years of experience working with molds (mold setting and injection mold processing) in a manufacturing environment
Experience troubleshooting
Experience with forklift and pallet jack operation, preferred
Knowledge of plastic materials and their processing characteristics
Experience with computer controlled machines
Experience with Sumitomo machines and robots, preferred
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Excellent communication skills
Ability to read and understand work instructions
Mechanical aptitude

As a polyvalent manufacturingtechnician, you manufacture Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) in a highly regulated clean room environment (work in BLS2/BLS3 environnement following CDC regulation).

Maintain waste management (treat, handle and dispose) for the production waste as per HTL's SOP.

Under the guidance of the management team, you will produce, package, and handle products, perform inventory duties, adhere to compliance requirements, and keep safety as your top priority while working daily in our facility. Full time only, M-F 8am-430pm, overtime available occasionally. $18.50/hr, going to $19/hr at 90 days.
Responsibilities
Deliver on production goals, while focused on safety and quality
Produce product per recipes and SOP's, maintaining high quality standards
Package product into proper containers with proper labeling to ensure compliance with state regulations
Ensure all standards for processing procedures and laboratory protocols are followed

Adherence to quality control methods throughout entire process
Documentation of manufacturing methods are created and maintained
Electronically convert packaged products in the state traceability system

OVERVIEW OF ROLE:
The Electromechanical Technician will be responsible for carrying out assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of control systems infrastructure and equipment.
