Mr. Levine has served as President, Chief Executive Officer, and Director of Springleaf since October 1, 2011. Mr. Levine served as President and Chief Executive Officer and as a director of Capmark Financial Group Inc. (“Capmark”) (a commercial real estate finance company) from December 2008 until February 2011. On October 25, 2009, Capmark and certain of its subsidiaries filed voluntary petitions for reorganization under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code. Capmark and certain of its debtor subsidiaries emerged from bankruptcy on September 30, 2011. From 2000 to 2008, Mr. Levine served as President, Chief Executive Officer (Co-CEO from March 2000 until January 2007), and a member of the board of directors of Royal Bank of Scotland Global Banking & Markets, North America (a banking and financial services company) and Chief Executive Officer of its predecessor entity, RBS Greenwich Capital (a financial services company) with responsibility for the company’s institutional business in the United States. Previously, Mr. Levine was co-head of the Mortgage and Asset Backed Departments at RBS Greenwich Capital. Mr. Levine’s extensive experience in the financial industry and his previous experience as an executive officer and director of financial services companies allow him to provide the Board with a broad perspective of our industry.

Steven A. Cohen is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Point72, a 1,500+ person registered investment advisor. Mr. Cohen founded S.A.C. Capital Advisors in 1992 and converted his investment operations to the Point72 Asset Management family office in 2014. An avid philanthropist and entrepreneur, Mr. Cohen has founded and holds active leadership roles in a number of nonprofit organizations. Brian is the Founding Partner, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer. He serves on the firm's Compliance, Risk Management, Terms, and Counterparty Credit Committees. Prior to Pine River's inception, Brian began his career at EBF & Associates in 1988 as a trader, becoming head of the convertible arbitrage group in 1994, and was named a Partner in 1997. Mark Okada is Co-Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Highland Capital Management, L.P, a Dallas-based investment advisor with $18 billion in assets under management. Highland is one of the largest and most experienced global alternative credit and equity managers and has been instrumental in providing alternative investment solutions for over 20 years. At Highland, Mark is responsible for overseeing the firm’s investment activities for its various strategies. He is also portfolio manager of the Highland Floating Rate Opportunities Fund, which has won the Lipper Fund Award for “Best Loan Participation Fund” in each of the last two years.
