Beryl is the Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Helzberg Diamonds, a Berkshire Hathaway Company. She is widely recognized throughout the retail industry as an innovative, business-building merchant with strong multi-store retail and jewelry expertise. Beryl is a member of the Boards of Directors of Helen of Troy, Michaels Stores and The Larry H. Miller Group of Companies. She is a past member of the Board of Directors of Group 1 Automotive where she was Chairman of the Nominating/Governance Committee and served on the Compensation Committee. She is a past member of the Board of Directors of Jo-Ann Stores where she chaired the Compensation Committee. She served on the Boards of several Jewelry Industry organizations as well as the NACD Heartland Chapter Board of Directors. Outside of the office, Beryl is committed to serving Make-A-Wish. She is highly sought after leader among corporate, not-for-profit and jewelry industry associations and boards and is recognized for her philanthropic work. Prior to Helzberg Diamonds, Beryl held executive positions with J.C. Penney Company, Zale Corporation and Macy & Company.Beryl graduated from Boston University with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration degree and from Drexel University with a Master’s of Business Administration.
