Real-time troubleshooting of issues stopping or impeding production of our high-quality puppy pads that are sold world-wide. Requires a hands-on problem solver who has both mechanical and electrical aptitude and background. Work closely with machine operators and team leaders to identify the issues and implement solutions.
We are looking for a Maintenance Mechanic to join our overnight operations team. You must be willing to work 12-hour shifts on a 2-2-3 schedule (no swing). Wages are based on experience and range from $29-33/hour with an additional $3.00/hour night shift premium. Time & 1/2 over 40, double time after 48 hours!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct machine maintenance and repair, including identification of equipment failure root cause and enhancing machine functionality to extend manufacturing capabilities
Performs preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines
Recognize process/product-related issues and provide possible solutions to avoid rework and maximize productivity
Coordinates with Machine operators and other mechanics to maintain maximum production flow and to avoid rejects/rework on the finished product.
Thoroughly cleans machines and machine parts, removing and reinstalling them as necessary.
Records and reports of damaged, worn, or broken parts
Identifies the causes of unexpected breakdowns of machines
Prepares reports documenting work performed
Makes necessary modifications and implements test runs; confers with engineers regarding test results and makes additional alterations to machinery as required
Model a culture of safety by following all safety protocols
Support the execution of manufacturing processes, ensuring alignment with industry and R. Sabee standards to build various quality products
Focus on continuous improvement using appropriate manufacturing metrics and targets. Identify and report problems and possible solutions regarding the efficiency and functionality of production assets
Assist electricians, when necessary, with the mechanical aspects of the job
Understand and comply with all lockout procedures
Performs other related duties as assigned
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:
One (1) to Three (3) years' experience in an electro-mechanical/maintenance role or 2+ years of related mechanical maintenance experience
Associate degree in maintenance, electro-mechanical technology, manufacturing systems, or similar area preferred

Use of provided computer software for field mapping, crop planning and record keeping of customer operations

We are looking for a Maintenance Mechanic to join our team! This position will be based at our Kohler, Wisconsin location. We specialize in manufacturing high-quality cast iron products.
Crafting Excellence: Your Responsibilities
* Perform general maintenance and preventive maintenance work on all machines and equipment to keep them in good working condition.
* Replace bearings, shafts, gears, etc.
* Repair a variety of hydraulic and pneumatic valves and controls, pressure regulators, pumps, tools, etc.
* Assist in solving excessive tooling or machine problems in production equipment, which may include the proficient operation of machines, incidental to troubleshooting those machines.
* Adjust, align, patch or replace drives, conveyors, etc.
* Inspect and repair all hoists, cables, hooks, shafts, packing and valves on air hoist, and sheaves on electric hoist.
* Perform all required preventive and predictive maintenance procedures on specified machinery and equipment.
* Perform a variety of bench work jobs.
* Clean up oil and grease around machines.
* Change air filters on machines.
* Check and control proper oil level in all production equipment. Change as required.
* Apply lubrication to equipment as required on a daily, weekly or monthly basis.
* Clean, maintain and secure company tools and work areas.
* Properly use chains and slings based on load capacity.
* Proficiently operate a wide variety of tools and equipment, e.g., hand tools, socket sets, wrenches, chain hoists, hydraulic jacks and cranes, hi-lifts, pneumatic wrenches, micrometers, Vernier calipers, levels, drill presses, grinders, etc. Able to read, interpret and use blueprints, drawings, sketches, and measurements.
* Be capable of using Computerized Maintenance Management software to create work notifications, look -up and order parts, print work orders, and enter time confirmations.

Position Responsibilities:
Complete all service jobs that are assigned to you.
Communicate with the Road Lead Technician on any unusual service problems encountered or for any technical assistance needed.
Attend service training classes offered to maintain knowledge on new products, or for refreshers on products not encountered too often.
Complete and submit all paperwork daily for jobs worked on (timecards, maintenance reports with customers' signature).
Communicate with dispatcher and/or service office as to status of jobs and availability for new jobs.
Identify jobs that should be sent to our shop for repair (due to complexity or safety reasons) and recommend they be sent in.
Develop and maintain relationship with territory sales representatives to keep them informed of sales opportunities you might see.
Always adhere to safety rules and policies at all times.
Essential skills and experience:
Must have very good skills in repairing powered industrial equipment, with a minimum of two (2) years of experience repairing forklift trucks and/or other products we represent, to include all types of gas, diesel, and electric trucks.

AGRONOMY MECHANIC - JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Trained and mentored to use self-propelled equipment to make fertilizer and/or chemical applications to crops in farm fields during the growing season (Typically middle of April through the beginning of July)
Operate machines, field computers and electronic dispatching to ensure customer satisfaction of timely and accurate fertilizer and chemical applications
Use of provided computer software for field mapping, crop planning and record keeping of customer operations
Understand the products utilized and the reasons for them being applied
Make deliveries to farms of liquid and dry fertilizers or other products with a pickup, straight and semi-trucks as necessary
Travel between Country Visions Cooperative locations and customer operations will be required
Work with other Country Vision Cooperative employees on a daily basis
Additional hours worked during peak seasons is expected
Communicate effectively with agronomists and other team members

HOURS
Typical work week is Monday through Friday
Saturday and some Sunday hours expected during May and June (Spring Season)

A Day In The Life of an A&P Mechanic
