Armed with sufficient electrical and mechanical knowledge, you will independently diagnose, prioritize, plan, and execute repairs. You will also be expected to collaborate with colleagues in management or leadership when needed. Key Responsibilities Work in a distribution/warehouse environment, handling physical and environmental aspects typical to such settings.     Description:What You Will Be Doing: This position will serve as a Avionics subject-matter expert on nose-to-tail maintenance operations on the F-35 airframe as part of a dedicated maintenance team located in Volkel Netherlands. This position is designed to aid our Dutch customer with repairing and returning their aircraft to an airworthy condition with the goal of increasing aircraft availability across the gamut of operations. Incumbent must be a self-starter, ability to make timely decisions, and willing to learn all facets of the nose-to-tail maintenance concept of the F-35 aircraft while supporting maintenance and operational requirements. Additionally, this position may be utilized to augment the Aeronautics Field Sustainment training team in the support of training operations on site. This position will be part of the larger Intergrated Contractor Support (ICS) infrastructure at an existing F-35 site. Physical Requirements: Regularly required to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive movements, work overhead, use hands to grasp, handle, and/or feel, reach with hands and arms.
