POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Social Worker is responsible for supplying necessary clinical intervention within the realm of the program. Provide cultural competent and sensitive services. As part of a therapeutic team within the Agency, work closely with the divisions' medical, psychiatric and psychology staff, to ensure the appropriate treatment interventions for the client.
KEY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Client Engagement
• Carries a caseload of residents, and provides services to those residents within the scope of program regulations and agency mission.
• Completes client assessments to include, intake assessments, overall client assessments, risk assessments
• Evaluates and assesses clients' functioning, and supports clients in meeting individual goals.
• Practices person-centered and collaborative service planning with clients, also ensuring service plans are completed and signed by residents according to regulatory guidelines and standards.
• Interprets and explains agency policies and procedures to residents.
• Develop safety plans
• Provide individual and family counseling.
• Makes referrals and coordinates services for clients, including but not limited to, medical, mental health, substance abuse prevention and treatment
• Advocates on behalf of residents with other services providers.
• Links residents to community-based programs and collaborates with other services providers
• May run groups under supervision
• Participates in audit preparation.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Participates in weekly case conference

Responsibilities
Works collaboratively with program directors and interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality services to all students served and their families.
Participate in intake and case review process, including providing evaluations and psycho-social assessments
Develops recommended annual individualized education plan (IEP) goals and objectives
Develops appropriate treatment plans, based on a student's IEP
Provides services, including the provision of individual and group counseling/play therapy for children in Racker's Preschool Program, as indicated in the child's annual IEP and documents per regulation and in a contemporaneous manner.
Provide education, training, and support for families on children's diagnosis, goal progression, and carryover strategies.
Provides comprehensive psychosocial services using methods and instruments appropriate to the developmental age and needs of the student.
Implements classroom management and individual behavior intervention through a multi tiered approach
Provides training and support to classroom staff on behavior interventions, family dynamics, trauma history, and diagnoses of children in the classroom
Provides assistance as necessary to management and team during student/family crisis and/or suspected child abuse/neglect screening and reporting
Advocates for families and individuals in the school system
Support families to access needed community resources
Qualifications
Graduate degree (Masters) in field of Social Work, Psychology, or Behavioral Sciences.
Must be a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
Professional experience working with students with developmental, physical, neurological disorders, and Autism Spectrum disorders preferred

Responsibilities
The Case Worker is responsible for conducting interviews with clients to assess their needs and challenges, such as personal and family adjustments, financial difficulties, employment issues, housing concerns, and physical or mental impairments. They gather information on medical, psychological, and social factors affecting the client's situation and evaluate their capabilities. The Case Worker provides counseling and support to help clients develop plans to meet their needs, mobilize internal and external resources, and improve their social functioning. They monitor client progress, refer them to community resources, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure effective communication with supervisors and funding sources. Additionally, the Case Worker may assist with housing individuals and providing necessary supplies and support to help them maintain their housing stability.
This Position is Full time at 40 Hours a Week, Monday to Friday 8:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Pay For This Position is $23.50 Per Hour.
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience Required at Entry:
Associate Degree in Human Services or a related field
Three years of experience working with vulnerable individuals

Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise and assess visits between children in foster care and their natural parents, maintaining comprehensive, detailed documentation of family interactions during visits.
Provide pre-visit and post-visit counseling, education, and clinical intervention targeted to issues raised in the observed visits.
Provide comprehensive intake and evaluation of prospective clients, referring for auxiliary services as necessary.
Devise and implement individualized service plans, goals, and intervention strategies.
Maintain all case files, narratives, statistical information, and provide ongoing assessment, treatment recommendation, clinical evaluations and comprehensive termination reports.
Provide written documentation on client's observed behavior and response to treatment intervention; consultation and recommendation regarding child's permanency plans, and family's treatment needs; and expert testimony to courts and judiciaries regarding risk assessments.
Present cases for intra-agency consultation, in addition to participating in regularly held department staff meetings, case conferences, supervision, and in-service training sessions.
Must maintain a “current” caseload of a minimum of 8 and up to 10 cases.
Collaborate effectively with outside services and agencies including but not limited to Department of Child and Family Services, Catholic Charities, and Huntington Family Center.
All other duties as assigned or requested by Director including but not limited to: Working as part of an integrated service team with other public and private agencies and programs.
Represent The Salvation Army and Child Welfare Services in a professional manner in the community at meetings, trainings, and assigned groups.
Assist in the training of interns/students/new workers.

Qualifications
MSW or related Masters Degree with clinical experience and licensure preferred.
Bachelor's Degree with Masters Degree nearing completion, and 5 years clinical experience.
Strong background in family systems preferred.
Excellent communications skills both verbal and written.

Ability to prioritize and consistently meet deadlines.
Ability to multitask.
Must have vehicle or regular access to a vehicle.
