December 11, 1966, Mission Ridge Ski Area opens with Chairs #1, #2, and two tows.
Chair Lift #3 is added for the 1967/68 season, along with grooming services, parking lot-gravelling and trail-clearing.
The 1976/77 season was dismal for Mission, as it failed to open completely due to lack of snow throughout.
Snowmaking would not resume until 1980.
Bill Johnson, the gold medalist in downhill at the 1984 Winter Olympics, trained at the Mission Ridge Ski Academy as a teenager.
November of 2003, Mission Ridge Resort Inc. purchased Mission Ridge, from Harbor Mountain LLC. owner Larry Scrivanich.
The second phase of the Mission Ridge Road Project was also completed in 2008.
