July 6th, 1967 First Resident Admitted
April 1973 MSLH Adult Day Care Program began (1st in ND)
September 1973 West Wing addition of 40 nursing home beds (Total beds now 120)
Sometime in August 1977 three engineers combined their resource to start the process of forming a new subsection.
So in December 1984 a petition signed by 50 members was submitted to National to form the Missouri Slope Section.
September 1987 Missouri Slope Lutheran Home now Missouri Slope Lutheran Care Center
January 1988 MSLCC Foundation Articles of Incorporation issued
June 1992 Ground breaking for Valley View Heights Independent Living Units
June 1993 Valley View Heights began accepting tenants
April 1997 Open house and dedication for new Chapel and expanded dining area
November 2003 Valley View Heights now licensed as a 30 unit assisted living facility
September 2006 Ground breaking for 34 more assisted living units at Valley View Heights
April 2017 Purchase agreement signed for Good Shepherd North property for a north campus
