This includes all of the scheduling of CI pts, coordinating appts with ENT and speech depts, submitting paperwork for authorizations, ordering CI equipment (includes tracking/documenting when equipment is received/dispensed, maintaining pt equipment that is kept onsite until returned/dispensed). Will troubleshoot equipment for walk-in pts or while at their speech appts; Monitors the CI call pool, addressing the daily needs of CI pts; verifying that all paperwork is up to date and completed for surgeries; liaison between CI pts and their audiologists and the hospital.
