Job Summary
The Process Operator is responsible for the operation of the computer controlled process equipment, cooker, machinery, and evaluation of any process problems in addition to performing product quality testing.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

* Oversees rendering process from raw material bin to finished goods storage.
* Maintain steady flow of material to cooker.
* Maintain cooker temperature, rate, and steam at peak operating levels.
* Monitor evaporation rate to maintain rate per hour according to requirements.
* Control flow of material to presses and to finished goods storage.
* Monitor control panel and various gauges to accomplish process.
* Operate pollution control system including air/odor control system and wastewater control.
* Responsible for boiler start up and operation.
* Perform periodic preventative maintenance on all equipment in process.
* Monitor machinery; bring all problems to attention of manager.
* Assures equipment and work area is clean after each shift.
* Maintains safety as top priority in accordance with all company safety rules and regulations.
* As trained, be aware of and responsible for their role in Darling's food safety program.
* All other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Must be at least 18 years of age.
* High School diploma or GED equivalent.
* Manufacturing, industrial, or agricultural experience preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Prior experience in a rendering facility or production environment preferred.
* Knowledge of mechanical rendering and or process equipment.
* Good mechanical aptitude and equipment troubleshooting; skilled in general mechanics and safe operation of equipment.

Owns the client on-boarding process to deliver exceptional and timely client service to onboard new clients as quickly as possible.
Develops and drives prospecting, contact, and referral strategies for business development opportunities with new and/or existing clients. This includes developing and cultivating relationships with centers of influence and referral sources. Works closely with commercial loan officers and branch staff in onboarding, development, and maintaining new and existing relationships.
Actively participates in joint client and prospect calls and presentations with commercial loan officers to further business development and sales efforts; leads Treasury Management discussions with clients and prospects, identifying and assessing client needs and challenges.
Collaborates with bank officers as well as independently identifies and contacts prospective customers to effectively assist in the establishment of depository accounts and Treasury Management products. Assist clients with all Treasury Management support calls regarding but not limited to online banking, remote deposit, wires, ACH, merchant services, courier services, reciprocal deposit programs, lockbox, corporate credit card accounts and positive pay.
Identifies Treasury Management opportunities with current customer base to grow relationships for the Bank.
Perform relationship profitability analysis of top clients and enhance the overall profitability monitoring system and process.
Responsible for customer training, installation, implementation and maintenance to keep all Treasury Management products functioning for the customer's best use.

Participates in investigation of product quality inquires and delivery shortages. Assists with reconciliation and research of deliveries and fuel inventories. Responds to customer requests for delivery information and investigates customer delivery complaints. Provides instruction to carriers to resolve delivery issues and participates in the root cause review of the delivery issue investigation.
Escalates unplanned supply disruption and terminal issues and communicates the resolution to carriers. Works with carriers, schedulers, and loading terminals to investigate and resolve loading issues. Provides notice to carriers of planned terminal and site downtimes. Performs analyses to ensure products are being sourced properly and that contracts obligations are being fulfilled.
