General Summary: Under general supervision, ensures the safety of patrons of an aquatic facility by preventing and responding to emergencies.
Essential Functions:
Maintains constant surveillance of patrons in the facility; acts immediately and appropriately to secure safety of patrons in the event of emergency.
Provides emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services.
Presents professional appearance and attitude at all times, and maintains a high standard of customer service.
Performs various maintenance duties as directed to maintain a clean and safe facility.
Prepares and maintains appropriate activity reports.
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
CPR certification
First Aid certification
Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations
Skill in the application of lifeguarding surveillance and rescue techniques

Prepare and submit reports to the school administration as required.
Community Engagement:
Promote the Academic Super Bowl within the school and the broader community.
Organize events or activities to showcase the team's achievements and encourage school-wide support.
Foster relationships with community partners and sponsors to support the program.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in education or a related field.
Teaching certification.
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Experience in coaching or mentoring students in academic or extracurricular activities.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and handle logistics effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience coordinating or coaching an Academic Super Bowl team or similar academic competition.
