SCIP, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization was founded in 1997 by Monica and Miguel Mancebo to provide intensive, business environment training to talented inner city high school students from New York City and New Jersey.
Since 2002, the National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS) has been supporting young academics on their journey to college and beyond as they prepare to become the leaders of tomorrow.
In 2002, he co-founded NSHSS with James W. Lewis to acknowledge and nurture the continuing success of high school and college students who have distinguished themselves through academic accomplishment, exemplary leadership and community involvement.
Since 2004, the Annual Artivist Film Festival concludes with “The Artivist Awards”, honoring the contributions of advocate celebrities, socially conscious filmmakers, and the work of outstanding charitable organizations.
Nobel was invited to preside over the open or closing bell ceremony at the NASDAQ Stock Market in Times Square each year since 2010.

NSHSS is excited to offer our high school and college members an opportunity to attend a College to Career Event hosted by Tesoro Corporation on Saturday, May 14, 2016.
On March 26, 2017, NSHSS and its collaborating university partner The University of Hong Kong, hosted the first member event.
On Auguest 3-4 2018, NSHSS implemented the first-ever Passion Projects Exhibition during Scholar's Day D.C. giving members from around the world a chance to showcase their research, passion, and solutions to the issues most dear to them.
The winners of the ten $10,000 Be More Fund grants were chosen and awarded in real time on November 14, 2020 in an exciting final round!
In the spring of 2020 in response to the global coronavirus pandemic, NSHSS shifted to remote work and the rapid development of resources to support our student and educator community.
