Job Title: Material Control Deputy
Position Overview: The Material Control Deputy serves as a liaison between the Material Control, Production, and Engineering departments. The primary responsibility is to ensure timely communication and coordination so that materials are available when required by the production team.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Warehouse Supervisor and Parts Master in recording inventory-related issues into the system.
Train personnel on the use of the company's computer systems.
Expedite material requests from the production group that have not yet been received.
Investigate facility requests not reflected in the database and coordinate the addition of material to work orders. Ensure the material is purchased, received, and distributed correctly.
Support the warehouse with small material deliveries across the facility.
Conduct project reconciliation as projects are completed to close out open orders, requisitions, work orders and project inventory.
Review Bills of Material (BOM) and compare against Work in Process (WIP) to ensure data accuracy.
Communicate across departments to identify and repurpose excess material instead of duplicating orders.
Act as a substitute for the Parts Master in their absence.
Comply with all company policies and procedures, especially employee safety standards, environmental regulations, and quality system principles.
Qualifications:
A minimum of five (5) years of experience in warehousing operations, shipyard parts identification and handling.
Oracle system process experience is preferred.
Skills and Abilities
Proficiency with basic computer software, including MS Outlook, MS Excel and MS Word.
Strong verbal communication skills.

FLSA STATUS: Hourly/Non-Exempt
ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a Public Safety Commissioned Officer for ASM Global/Caesars Superdome | Smoothie King Center | Champions Square.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Respond to emergencies or other situations/issues affecting the safety of other people
· Protect highly valuable property, such as equipment, material, grounds, etc.
· Patrol an assigned area and/or stands at a fixed post
· Perform security checks of buildings and grounds
· Check persons on the premises to determine if they possess proper identifications and are authorized to be present on ASM property
· Check identification of persons who enter facilities or grounds
· Complete incident reports as required
· Conduct preliminary internal and criminal investigations relevant to incidents within an assigned area
· Intervene in disturbances/incidents to maintain peace or restore order
· Effect arrest, where warranted, and authorized
· Erect and remove barricades, temporary signs, and other materials for parking and crowd management
· All other duties as assigned
Qualifications

· Must successfully pass a criminal and driving record background check
· Must be at least 21 years of age
· Must be able to work various shifts, including, but not limited to, nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed; 7 days a week
· Must wear authorized uniform
· Must present excellent written and oral communication skills
· Must be able to complete other mandatory training as required
· Must own your own firearm
Education and/or Experience
· High School Diploma or equivalent
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
· Must possess a valid United States Driver's License at time of appointment and throughout employment
· Must be able to qualify with a firearm at certified firing range by certified state instructor

1. He has been convicted in any jurisdiction of any crime of violence as defined by R.S. 14:2(B).

He has been convicted in any jurisdiction of any other felony offense within ten years prior to the date of the application or less than ten years has elapsed between the date of application and the successful completion or service of any sentence, deferred adjudication, or period of probation or parole for which a full pardon or similar relief has not been granted under the laws of the United States, the state of Louisiana, or any other state or country.
3. A person whose prior activities, arrest, or criminal record if any, reputation, habits, and associations do not pose a threat to the public interest of this state or to the effective regulation of private security companies, and do not create or enhance the dangers of unsuitable, unfair, or illegal practices, methods, and operations in the activities authorized by this Chapter and financial arrangements incidental thereto.
4. A person who does not owe the state or local governing authority of the parish or municipality in which the company is located any delinquent taxes, penalties, or interest, excluding items under formal appeal or protest as provided by law.
5. Every person who has or controls directly or indirectly more than a five percent ownership, income, or profit interest in an entity which has or applies for a license in accordance with the provisions of this Chapter, or who receives more than five percent revenue interest in the form of a commission, finder's fee, loan repayment, or any other business expense related to the private security business, or every person who is an officer or a director of the company, or who has the ability, in the opinion of the board, to exercise a significant influence over the activities of a licensee authorized or to be authorized by this Chapter, shall meet all suitability requirements and qualifications for licensees.

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional - Unarmed. The Security Professional will conduct unarmed foot and/or vehicle patrol (interior and/or exterior) in a hospital environment. Additional duties include control access and egress; monitor CCTV and alarm systems; compose reports; deter criminal activity and misconduct. Due to the safety sensitive nature of this role, qualified candidates must be able to submit to drug screening to the extent permissible by law. This assignment is in a healthcare facility. As such, a tuberculosis (TB) test and certain vaccinations may be required.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform security patrols of hospital grounds on foot or in vehicle; document detailed observations of unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards
Assist hospital staff with de-escalation of situations involving patients; restrain combative individuals as necessary (within company and customer guidelines)
Transport patients to the morgue, as needed
Assist in escorting patients from helicopter pad (high elevation) to the emergency room
Assist with evacuations during fires, medical emergencies, and natural disasters
Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons
Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles
Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits; ensure only authorized individuals enter and exit the hospital, and that no contraband or hospital items are brought in or out
Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensures that authorized removal of property is conducted within appropriate client requirements
Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain written logs as required
QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):
High school diploma or equivalent
Current driver's license if driving a company- or customer-owned vehicle
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
Minimum of two (2) years of verifiable employment history relating customer service or the protective service industry (preferably security, healthcare, military, law enforcement, or corrections)
Must be at least 18 years of age, or higher if required by the state
Able to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
Demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public
Effective oral and written communication skills

Graduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian) or verified work experience in the law enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighter field
Bachelor's degree in law enforcement or criminal justice related studies
A minimum of 8 or more years of service in any military branch
Associate's degree (or 60 credits) or higher in law enforcement or criminal justice with current or prior active military service
