Viaero's Network Field Technicians perform cell site installation, maintenance and network testing of the Viaero Wireless & Fiber Network. The work includes but is not limited to the installation and maintenance of cellular base station equipment, microwave radios, fiber equipment, various network infrastructure equipment, tower lighting controls, DC power plant systems and batteries. This person will be based in the Ogallala, Nebraska region, which is close to Lake McConaughy and Lake Mac Casino Resort & Racetrack.
Other Responsibilities:
· Perform routine maintenance of cell site electronic equipment including but not limited to UMTS and LTE base stations, licensed and unlicensed Ethernet microwave radios, DWDM Fiber Optic transport equipment, Routers/Switches, DC power plant equipment including batteries, standby generators, antennae and transmission lines and/or fibers.
· Perform Fiber Splicing, terminating, testing, & locating
· Monitor the performance of the base stations and microwave for any deficiencies or improvements that need to be made. Determine and coordinate capacity additions with field and switch personnel. Determine and coordinate retune of microwave radios.
· Assist tower crew in the alignment of microwave paths.
· Assist tower crew in the repair of PCS/microwave lines and antennas.
· Assist tower crew in tower top equipment trouble shooting
· Maintain/prepare all applicable cell site records and maintenance reports.
· Required On Call rotation. During the On Call rotation period, must be available 24/7 in order to resolve after hours issues.
· Responsible for maintenance and professional appearance of service vehicle, according to company policy.
· Responsible for maintenance / cleanliness of the site compound.
Minimum Qualifications • 2-year technical degree and/or equivalent experience.• Current driver's license and good driving record, plus ability to pass criminal background check and substance screening.• Excellent interpersonal skills.• Ability to spend at least 50% of work time traveling to and from sites via vehicle.• Must be able to pick up at least 75 pounds and carry it a short distance.

The Nebraska Racing & Gaming Commission is hiring passionate professionals to join our expanding team at the Lake Mac Casino Resort, which just recently opened. Be part of an exciting foundation-building phase as we bring regulated gaming to western Nebraska.
We're seeking a self-motivated investigator to join the enforcement division. This role conducts background checks on licensees and carries out investigations and surveillance at licensed racetrack enclosures. It's a vital position that promotes integrity, fairness, and excellence within the state's racing and gaming industry.
Examples of Work
* Conducts thorough investigations into alleged violations of racing and gaming regulations, including but not limited to cheating, fraud, money laundering, and other criminal activities.
* Performs in depth background checks on all licensees under the authority of the Commission.
* Gathers evidence through interviews, surveillance, and data analysis to support investigations and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Prepares incident reports and other investigative reports documenting findings, evidence, and recommended actions.
* Prepares and delivers testimony presenting the facts surrounding any civil, regulatory, criminal, or departmental action.
* Reviews and monitors sample testing procedures, test barns, and laboratory results to ensure required participation in the quality assurance program and compliance with the rules of racing.

Requirements / Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications: Coursework/training in criminal justice, law enforcement, police science, criminology, or related field and experience conducting criminal investigations. Must currently hold or able to obtain Nebraska Law Enforcement Certification for continued employment.
Legal Requirements: Applicants must meet the minimum qualifications required for admission into the Nebraska Law Enforcement Training Academy in accordance with Title 79, Nebraska Administrative Code Chapter 8: Training Academy Admission Qualifications and Procedures. In accordance with Title 79, Nebraska Administrative Code Chapter 17: Law Enforcement Continuing Education Requirements, incumbents must complete required continuing education to maintain active law enforcement certification.
Preferred Qualifications: Preference will be given to candidates who live in the commutable area and have a minimum of three years' investigative experience. Additionally, preferred candidates will have an active law enforcement certification in the State of Nebraska.
