The Electronics Technician is responsible for supporting the development, testing, and maintenance of electronic systems that facilitate cutting-edge research, propulsion testing, and instrumentation. This hands-on role involves hardware assembly, troubleshooting, electronics validation, and providing support to test engineers.
Responsibilities
+ Assemble, install, maintain, and repair electronic instrumentation and control systems for testing.
+ Perform diagnostics on analog and digital circuits, sensors, and control hardware.
+ Execute electronics testing, including functional tests, validation checks, and live test support.
+ Operate electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal analyzers.
+ Perform soldering, harness fabrication, PCB rework, and connector assembly.
Essential Skills
+ More than 5 years of hands-on experience in electronics testing, troubleshooting, and hardware support.
+ Proficiency in soldering, including PCB rework, wiring, and connector assembly.
+ Experience testing with oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other diagnostic electronics equipment.
+ Ability to write clear test reports, documentation, and technical notes.
+ Experience executing electronics testing, performing structured test procedures, and documenting results.
+ Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and electrical drawings.
+ Strong organizational and documentation skills with attention to detail.
