**Responsibilities**
Perform basic and advanced diagnostic sleep studies.
+ Prepare patient and equipment for ordered testing. Interview patient to determine sleep disorder issues and to explain testing procedures.
+ Perform and document testing. Monitor patient throughout testing and intervene as necessary to resolve patient needs or equipment issues.
+ Collect, analyze and integrate patient information to identify and meet patient-specific needs; scores, interpret and report results of sleep studies.
+ Prepare, calibrate, repair and maintain equipment required for testing. Determine and report needed repairs/replacements.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

Key Responsibilities
Client Monitoring & Support
Attend to the day-to-day operations of the Housing Department.

Redirect clients respectfully when necessary to maintain order and safety.

Report all adverse client behaviors and emergent situations in a calm and organized manner.
Document all unsafe conditions and communicate necessary repairs to the Lead BHT.
Maintain accurate shift reports and other required documentation.
Facility Maintenance & Safety
Ensure the physical residence is maintained per State of Indiana Department of Health standards.
Uphold company operational systems including cleanliness of residential and clinical buildings.
Identify and report any unsafe conditions or needed repairs promptly.
Team Collaboration & Training
Work cohesively with all departments to ensure client safety and care.
Assist in training new BHT staff.
Communicate department needs to the Administrator.
Attend all scheduled meetings and training sessions.
Facilitate client groups under the supervision of the Administrator and Director of Substance Abuse Counseling Services.
Qualifications / Required Experience
A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a behavioral health, addiction recovery, or residential care setting preferred.
Ability to remain awake and alert during all working hours.
Knowledge of or willingness to be trained in observing UDS and medication self-administration procedures.
CPR certification required (or must be obtained within 30 days of hire).
Knowledge of Joint Commission requirements preferred.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
* Perform activities of daily living (ADLs): bathing, oral care, grooming (shaving), urinary catheter and ostomy care; assists with meals and feeding; assists with positioning, ambulation, and mobilization; assists with elimination and toileting.
* Screening/Collection/Recording data & information: vital signs, intake & output, weights, specimen collection.
* Restocks patient room and unit supplies, performs equipment checks.

QUALIFICATIONS

* Prior PCT experience in another acute care health care organization Required
* After completion of Franciscan PCT In-training program Required
* Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) - American Heart Association Franciscan will provide BCLS training and recertification as needed.

Job Summary
* Monitors heart rhythm pattern of patients to detect abnormal pattern variances, using telemetry equipment. Essential Functions
* Monitors telemetry of patients by observing telemetry monitors for changes in cardiac rhythms
* Removes and cleans telemetry boxes when patient is discharged from telemetry
* Maintains accurate records of telemetry patients
* Immediately notifies RN or supervisor of rhythm changes
* Assigns transmitters and wires and sets up the monitor system for all telemetry ordered patients

* Stays abreast of federal, state, and local regulations for food safety and sanitation
