We are seeking a skilled and compassionate physician to join our urgent care team on a part-time basis. As a part time physician, we are willing to pay for the Civil Surgeon certificate in which you will be responsible for conducting immigration medical examinations for individuals seeking adjustment of status in the United States. Additionally, you will provide urgent medical care to patients presenting with acute medical conditions in our urgent care facility. Key Responsibilities: Conduct immigration medical examinations in accordance with the guidelines set forth by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). Complete all necessary forms and documentation accurately and in a timely manner. Perform thorough medical evaluations, including physical examinations, laboratory testing, and diagnostic procedures as needed. Provide prompt and effective medical treatment to patients presenting with urgent care needs. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, physician assistants, and administrative staff, to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients seen in the urgent care facility. Adhere to all relevant legal and ethical standards, including patient confidentiality and informed consent. Stay current with developments in immigration law and medical guidelines relevant to immigration medical examinations. Qualifications: Medical degree from an accredited medical school. Valid license to practice medicine in the state where the urgent care facility is located. Certification by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security as a Civil Surgeon, or eligibility to obtain certification. Experience conducting immigration medical examinations preferred. Strong clinical skills and ability to diagnose and treat a wide range of acute medical conditions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. UNC Health is seeking a clinical faculty member to join our neonatology practice at the large regional campus and Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in Wilmington, NC. This multi-specialty academic practice and children's hospital is part of an innovative partnership between UNC and Novant Health to provide specialty care to children from communities throughout southeastern and coastal NC. The Novant Health - New Hanover Regional Medical Center (NH-NHRMC) facility and Betty Cameron Children's Hospital is a full spectrum community-based, children's hospital. This ideal candidate is clinically focused in a regional community children's hospital with a strong connection to a large academic group and a quaternary children's hospital. This is an open rank faculty position, on the fixed term track, but salary benchmarks will be at private/community levels. The majority of clinical time will be at the Level III NICU at Betty Cameron Children's, with a small amount of time on-site at two of the regional Level II NICUs and remotely supervising two regional Level I and II NICUs. Interest in teaching and clinical research is also very desirable. This person joins six other full-time neonatologists and five others who work in part-time roles at the regional campus. The NICU at Betty Cameron includes a 45 bed Level III NICU with single-family rooms and cutting-edge care models. There are approximately 4200 deliveries per year and 700 NICU admissions with regional referrals from other delivery centers in our region. Care provided at this location includes extreme prematurity (down to 22 weeks), advanced respiratory support, cooling, and inhaled nitric oxide. Nemours Children's Health is seeking a board certified/board eligible Pediatric Emergency Medicine physician with an academic interest in clinical or translational research to join our dynamic, close-knit group at the Nemours Children's Hospital, Delaware (NCH-DE) in Wilmington, DE. The Division of Emergency Medicine consists of a team of 23 PEM trained physicians, 7 general pediatricians, 7 fellows, 10 Physician Assistants and a Nurse Practitioner. The team cares for approximately 58,000 patients a year in our 44-bed state of the art facility that opened in 2014 as part of a major expansion of the hospital. The Nemours Emergency Department is also home to a 6-bed behavioral health unit that opened in 2023 and shares oversight and staffing with psychiatry to better serve our patients requiring psychiatric care. NCH-DE is a multi-specialty pediatric hospital and is the only ACS certified pediatric Level I trauma center in the state. We have a large catchment area, including all of DE, as well as surrounding states including PA, NJ, and MD. The Division has an expanding research emphasis and team members are active in research and quality improvement. We are a member of the GLACiER node of PECARN, and are actively involved in multi-center studies, both within and outside PECARN. The research infrastructure available to the division includes grants and proposal development and a research team that assists with study activities.
